Sir Maddox's soirée's invitation was arranged for Alexandra Allura, as promised. Only a few hours remained until the soirée began. While in search of a suitable attire, Alexandra found herself once again, in a dilemma. Despite having hundreds of clothing, the earl always seemed to have some difficulty in choosing. Aside the perfectionist she usually was, this was something she was overly picky about. That was when Denis intervened with an archaic chest in his hands.
The chest belonged to Alexandra for about a decade, yet well taken care of. After she moved to London, not once did she take a look inside. Now would've been a suitable time to do so. Alexandra dusted the dirt off the chest and opened it to drown herself in a nostalgic universe. Books about demonology, dried flowers, post cards, and at last, a pocketwatch wrapped in a piece of vintage paper.
The pocketwatch was coated in a silvery colour and gave out a shiny effect. Though a little rusty, the beauty of it didn't fade away. This pocketwatch was special to the earl; it once belonged to someone important to her. As she picked it up and stared it, old memories began to revive.
The young lady sat buried in her books, with jet black hair reaching her waist. Isolated in a remote cottage in the forest, the Demon-in-hiding tried her best to analyse human emotions and if possible, imitate them The former Demon king, her father, commanded her to try and understand humans in order to rule them over.
