Through Highs & lows: chapter 41

"Mmm. Good morning." Colby smiles, as his eyes flutter open. "It's the afternoon." I softly laugh. I look at my phone and see that it says seven pm. "Actually it's basically night." I say looking back to him. "Oh well you know what I mean." He laughs, pulling me closer to him. "No I don't think I do." I laugh before kissing him and pulling away. "Nooo." He whines. "What?" I laugh. "I want more. Kiss me again." He says in a childish voice. "Umm... How about... No." I smile. "Uh... How about yes." He says. "Fine one more, but then we have to get up." I say. "Deal." He smiles. "Only because I love you." I say before kissing him. "Because you love me or can't resist me." He says once we pull away. "Both, but that's supposed to be a secret." I laugh. "It's okay, your secrets safe with me. Though everybody already knows it." He laughs. "Whatever. Come on, let's go before we never leave this bed." I say, sitting up. "Would that be such a bad thing?" He asks. "Yes come on we have to go hang out with Sam and Kat. Don't be selfish. Plus we had a deal." I say trying to pull him up. "Fine. Let's go he says getting up and out of bed. We walk to the door and he opens it, before following me out. As we make our way down stairs I hear something, but I'm not sure what, it just sounds like moving. I stupidly didn't think anything over it and neither did Colby I guess. When we get to the living room we see Sam and Kat making out. "Oh my god!" I say immediately running back to the stairs. "My eyes. They're bleeding. I'm scarred." Colby says following behind me. I hear Sam laugh and we walk back out. "Seriously on my couch." I say to them. "Sorry." Kat says blushing. "What we thought you guys were asleep. You guys are over exaggerating." Sam says. "Dude I saw you grab her ass. Imagine you saw Caroline and I like that." Colby says in repugnant. "Okay maybe that part was bad, but still." He says. Colby just turns to me. "See you just had to drag me out here. They we're clearly doing fine without us." Colby says. "So you wanted me to be upstairs with you, while they made out on my couch. They thought we we're asleep, it would have probably gone way further if we hadn't walked down." I argue. "So we would have been doing the same thing." He laughs. My face goes red, as I hear Sam and Kat start laughing. "Just stop talking." I say putting my palm to my forehead. "I'm just joking." He says grabbing my hand. "No your not, don't lie." Sam says. "Shut Sam, because apparently you can't keep your hands to yourself. Us sleeping isn't an excuse." I say turning to him. "Okay well you guys are the ones who left the movie early because your boyfriend got a boner." He says in return. "Fine Sam. I'll remember this next time we go to your house and no one else is home. I'll remember this and not think twice about what I do next." I say. "Ooo. I like that." Colby laughs. "Wait what? No. I take it back. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please stop that's gross." He rambles out. "Yeah. I thought so." I say. "Waite no. He deserves it. Do it. I'll be right here helping you. Your not the only person who was scarred. We can scar them for life. Together." Colby says. "You do have a point." I laugh. "No. Seriously. Please. You have the power to control your horny boyfriend. Please for everyone's sake. Just no." Sam begs. "Hm. I don't know." I joke. "Caroline be careful what you chose. I can do it too." Kat says, getting closer to Sam. Sam grows a giant smile. Kat and I burst into laughter. "Sike. As best friends we'll always make a truce between each other, before anyone else." Kat says putting her hand out. "Exactly. Sorry, not sorry." I laugh giving her a high five. "You guys are cruel." Colby says, crossing his arms and shaking his head. "I know." I smile hugging him. He keeps his arms crossed though. "Wow okay. Fine, if it's gonna be like that." I say unwrapping my arms from around him. "Come here loser." He says uncrossing his arms and pulling me back into a hug. "I thought so and you better rephrase that." I laugh. "Fine. Come here loser that I love very dearly and stay in my arms forever." He says. "Glady, band geek that I love more than you could ever imagine." I respond. "You guys are dorks." Kat laughs. "Shut up." Both Colby and I say in unison.
