"Be strong."

Isabella's POV

After what seemed to be like I dont know how long, I finally tried to open my eyes again. There was no more darkness instead there was bright lights making it hard for me to distinguish the figures above me.

It was quite and very peaceful this time.Although few words were exchanged.

I managed to observe the room.I was laying in a hospital bed,and the room reeked of medicine so I was pretty sure I was at a hospital.

Beside the bed on my right side stood a doctor. She had long blonde hair,nice eyebrows and dressed in a white coat. She seemed to be in the early 30's and she was beautiful.

Then on my left side stood a man and a woman.

Ernest and my Mother.

"Hey.." I managed to let out a soft gentle voice.

Their eyes found mine.Relief,Suprise, fear,curiosity and all the mixed vague emotions flashed across the three of them.

"What happened?" as soon as I asked they all exchanged looks.

"How are you feeling Isabella?"The doctor finally asked walking to my far end checking the machines next to the bed.

"Confused.Hurt.Painful." my whole body was aching.I felt really sore.

I gathered a bit of little energy and tried to sit up but ended up falling back to the hissing.

"Ouch" I cried in pain.

"Hey easy there." Ernest said helping me to lay down well.

"I've missed you." A tear left my eye as I cupped his cheek with my soft numb hand.

"I know.I missed you too princess." He said nonchalantly and kissed the palm of my hand.

"Ohh sweetheart..." my mother breathed out stepping closer "We were worried sick about you." She cried.

"Hey dont cry.." I managed to reach her face and wipe away her tears with a small painful smile on my lips.

"Its not like I fucken died right." I laughed sarcastically and they joined.

"There she goes with her cursing." Ernest commented and I laughed lightly.

"What do you remember about the day of your accident Mrs Smith?" The doctor asked

"Nothing." I said looking down

"Okay then,try remembering anything because the detective was here earlier on and she'll be back again but I don't know when." She said and I slowly nodded.

"Okay we're going to run some few tests to check if everything is alright. We'll come get you in a few minutes. Excuse me..." she said and went out.

"I'll be down in the cafeteria getting us something to eat, I'll be back." Mother said with a smile and kissed my forehead before grabbing her bag and making her way out of the room.

Ernest dragged a chair from the corner and sat down taking my hand in his.

"I thought I've lost you right then.I thought you were going to die princess. "Ernest confessed in a raw voice."I thought I wouldn't see your beautiful face again.The way you smile,laugh,curse and not forgetting your craziness." He said and both  of us laughed.

"The way you look at me,the way you call me..I just thought I was going to lose you princess."

My heart was broken, sore and very happy but painful at the same time.Hearing his voice after so many I don't know how long,made me wanna jump on top of him and just kiss him.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't there to beshield  you princess.Im so sorry that I made that call,maybe...maybe you would've stood in the middle of the road to hear my stupidity. Maybe all this could've happened to you.Maybe..." he let out a shaky breath."When I got to the scene and saw you laying there,pale,helpless,deadened and still,Keyshia screaming and crying next to you....My heart stopped.I nearly fainted but I thought about you,that I had to be there for you and be by your side throughout. "

"You know, be by my women's side holding her tight you know." He chuckled. "You make it hard for me to think straight Princess. I'm so inlove with you,I cant fight it."  his tone softened

Tears were now falling and my lips were in a small smile my eyes starring at his handsome face.He stood up and looked down fixedly at me.He then grabbed my face gently with his hands,leaning down to connect our lips.

The kiss was so soft and gentle and it had me feeling loved,supported and tingly.My hands reached the back of his neck and went on with the kiss.Still kissing the same doctor came in with two nurses.

Ernest reluctantly pulled away after placing a soft gentle kiss on my forehead. After we both exchanged smiles, we both  turned to look at the doctor.

"Oh sorry for intruding but we need to run those tests." She informed to which Ernest walked a few steps back to let the two Male nurses do their job.

"Be strong." Ernest said once I turned my eyes to meet his.

"I'll be just right here waiting for you when you get back princess." Ernest assured me with a smile.
