One year later. ❤

Isabella's POV

Well after Ernest proposed, a lot happened. We got married in SPAIN BARCELONA three months after the proposal. It was a magnificent day surrounded by friends, family,peace,bliss and love.

Back in Bali, someone attempted to set my hotel on fire but luckily alarms went off quickly.

Detective Stein and detective Bradman had been on hands on deck following the case.But still they haven't found any suspect or lead.

Ernest insisted on me having a personal bodyguard but I refused. I just felt like whoever tried doing what they failed to do,was no one  hazardous.

But him on the other hand,felt like I needed to be protected 24/7.

He had his own personal bodyguard, Dannie.He was in his mid thirties and was a very lovely young man.

Another thing was that Ernest and I bought another company, about 15 blocks away from our old one.It was yet another operating oil company. He was the CEO there and I remained as the CEO at Smith&Co .

Rendy was appointed as my PA and we've been working great together. Banging deals and bringing good business into the company.

It was sad in the beginning that I wasn't working with Ernest anymore but as time went on, I got used to it.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and just like every other day, I groaned before I finally got up and took a shower. Ernest had already left for work.

It was Tuesday so I decided to throw on a simple one shoulder plain knee-lengthed dress and some black heels. I put all my necessities in my black Givenchy handbag and went downstairs.

I grabbed my lunch in the kitchen that was made by my husband and got in my white Mercedes Benz.

I finally arrived at work and as usual I found the lovely Florence at the reception.

After she had a baby, Ernest and I insisted on her being at home for about 3 years but we'd still pay her even though she'd be at home but she just stayed till the baby was 6 months, then returned to work.

"Good morning Flo." I greeted as I approached the reception desk.

"Morning Mrs.Smith." she said smiling .

Even though it has been a year since I got married  and she still called me Mrs.Smith, every single time.i was quite used to it.

"I wonder what would make you stop calling me that.I prefer anything besides that.After all we at work." I told her.

She rolled her eyes." Ohh darling, stop being a fool. You are married, I'm gonna call you however I wanna call you at all times trust me." She ended up with a smile.

"Sure." I nodded wanting to end the conversation.

"I'll see you Flo."

I  hastily turned around but ofcourse as always she caught my arm before I could walk of.

"Not so fast sissy." She muttered giving me a  serious glare.

"Tell me something new pleaseeeee..." I whined childishly.

"Isabella when are you getting pregnant?"

ohh no hear we go again!

"Flo,I really need to get to the office now.I promise we'll chit chat some other time but right now,I gotta fucken bounce." I said faking a smile while trying to get her hand off.

"You're the boss.Whats the rush dear?" She raised an eyebrow in her glasses.

"I gotta got I have a meeting." I blurted out a lie.

"Ohh no you dont." She dissented and took of her glasses.

"Oh yes I do." I tried whining but she shook her head.

"You're not going anywhere until we talk because I know you dont have an meeting this mornin-"

"Oh yes she does." A voice said from behind me cutting her off.

"Rendy." I sad in total gladness as I turned around.

"Mrs.Smith." she nodded as a form of greeting." Florence." She turned to florence and nodded.

"Hello Rendy sweetheart." Florence greeted back politely smiling at her

"Well ,what was it you said when you first came here Ren?" I asked giving her a wink as a form of acting.

"Right,right..." She played along. " We got a meeting that was scheduled for today in about...30 minutes." She said looking at her watch o her wrist.

"Ohh fuck it totally slipped out of my mind you know.Dammit dammit.!" I faked annoyance and i felt Florence releasing my arm.

Whoahhhhh,at last.!!

"Ohh Bella darling, you're only human you know. You are bound to forget and do mistakes time to time." She said the most comforting voice and I almost pity for her.

Almost!!.

"Well thank you so much Flo.Iemme go and see what I can do with the few minutes left." I said and she nodded,approvingly.

"Good luck babiesss." She yelled as Rendy and I got inside the elevator.

"Whyuuuuuuuuu!!!" I sighed loudly.

"Could've been worse. " Rendy said letting out a laugh.

"Tell me about It. " I joined her .
