Kita Shinsuke - How About You?

Spoilers for Inarizaki vs Karasuno game. I'm really sorry for this. I promise I'll make a neutral one for Kita fans soon enough.

My God was that emotional. Every time I remember it I want to cry. Is there a way for all teams to win?

Haha, also, uhm, some SakuAtsu because I couldn't help myself.

I pushed the door open, huffing in content at the sudden warmth that hit me and the wonderful smell of food and drinks. I'm so hungry!

I looked around while removing my scarf and hat, my gaze searching for the familiar leash of wild former volleyball players. Well, some of them are. Upon spotting them, I grinned widely and walked over, taking my jacket off. It was so cold outside but here it is very pleasant.

"(F/N)!" My favourite setter said and I grinned right back at him. "You're late, (L/N)," the former captain said the moment I reached the table and my eyebrows lifted up as a gave him are-you-messing-with-me-right-now look. "No, I'm not. We agreed after seven," I said and then leaned down to hug the setter who still had his hair dyed blonde. "Atsumu!" I responded to his first greeting and then went around, greeting everyone. I haven't seen them in so long, I didn't even realize how much I actually missed them.

"Well, it's expected to be here before seven-thirty at least..."

"Shinsuke, shut up," I quickly cut him off and then took a seat next to him. "I held up my part of the deal and that's enough for me. So, how have you guys been doing?" I asked excitedly and looked around at the familiar faces. "I know Aran, Rintarou and Atsumu are in V league Division 1, I know Osamu has that amazing Onigiri shop. I've eaten there a couple of times, but what's up with the rest of you?" The boys went around talking about what they are doing in life, some of them telling me what they are studying and some telling me where they are working.

"Oh, yeah, Samu told me he gets the rice from you. That's cool, as long as it makes you happy. Besides, I bet all the volleyball practice has given you enough physical strength to handle it," I said and winked when Kita told me he's been rice farming. It was a cool job and I bet it's very relaxing. Kita nodded and took a sip of his water. Still as much of a stiff person as he was in high school, I see. "Yeah, it's been rewarding," he replied and I smiled brightly at that. I'm really happy to hear that they are happy.

"How's love life been to you? Samu, you must have proposals tossed at you from left and right. Full package and all," I asked and leaned my chin on my palm and looked them over once more. The twin that stopped dying his hair shook his head and let out an amused huff before replying. "Not as much as you would think." I pouted at his response and traced my index finger from my eye down my cheek and to my jaw as if to trace a tear. "Suna's got a girlfriend, though. Seems serious," Aran said and I brightened up. "That's good to hear! I don't want you to end up lonely losers like you were in high school," I teased but quickly made my way around the table to sit next to Suna. "Show me. I want to see if she's good enough for my Rintarou or not," I said and watched him expectantly as he chuckled and pulled out his phone, showing me his lock screen. I couldn't really see much, especially since it's only a picture, but I could see she was wearing his EJP Raijin jersey and smiling brightly at the camera.

"She's pretty. Is she nice? Is she treating you well? Are you treating her well?" I fired question after question at him and he blinked a couple of times before being able to respond. When he gave me the responses that were satisfying enough, I nodded my head, put a hand on his shoulder and wished him good luck. The guys chuckled and I returned to my original seat. "Anyone else willing to show off their partners?" I asked and looked at the blonde twin, arching my eyebrow at him. "Tsumu? You're awfully quiet," I asked and took note of how he faintly smiled and Samu chuckled and patted his back. "There's a guy," he began rather quietly and my eyes widened. "There is? Show me? Are you two together or is it still in progress?" I asked and leaned over Shinsuke to take the phone that Atsumu handed me.
