The class went silent, glancing around for the familiar raven haired female who was usually sat in the back of the class. Once everyone's eyes landed on her empty seat, the teacher audibly sighed.

"She's only been back for a few days and she's already skipping school again." Their teacher muttered, putting an A beside Makoto's name on the chart. "Horiuchi-san, do you know why she's not here again?"

Akihiro rolled his eyes, hating the fact that he was put on the spot to answer for Makoto. Although, it was a given since he lived next door to Makoto and knew everything about her.

"She stayed home to watch her boyfriend from Miyagi play volleyball on TV." Akihiro answered, making multiple students gasp.

"MAKOTO HAS A BOYFRIEND?! I THOUGHT SHE SWUNG FOR MY TEAM!" A female shouted, watching her chance with Makoto fly out the window.
