Chapter 7

(Y/n) had been waiting patiently for her U.A letter. It still hadn't come yet. After a week now. She got text from Uraraka that she got in. (Y/n) couldn't help but leap for joy for her friend and her dream about to become a reality. She just hoped that she would accomplish her dream and promise with her as well.

She also found that Bakugou got in too. Not a surprise but she felt happy too. Another one of her friends going to U.A. Izuku got in too. She couldn't believe it. Her friend. Best friend was gonna accomplish his dreams. He deserves to be a hero. He wants nothing more than to keep the world safe and away from harm. And be just like All Might. It was truely a miracle on how he got into U.A.

All now that was left to see is if she would achieve her dream too. She thought she did fairly well. But couldn't help but wonder if she wouldn't get in.

She was currently sitting on her living room couch. Browsing through the hero news to see what was going on in the world. Her dad was sitting down too.

"Did you check the mail box yet?" He asked trying to converse with his daughter. She shook her head no. She went to go and check if it was in there.

Nothing. Still waiting. She was growing anxious. What if she didn't get in? What about her promise to her mother? Would she break that promise? Did she not do well? The dead line for the letter was supposed to be at 10 pm tonight. If no letter, then that is an automatic fail. You would get in. You would fail and have to go for a different school. She didn't want that to happen. Ah hate to admit it. But she was scared.

She walked back inside. Her dad looked at her. She shook her head no and went up to her room. A slight tear rolled down her cheek. Was she not getting in? And the maximum was at least forty points. She didn't know if she got that much. Did she? If she didn't get in. Her promise to her mother would break. Shatter into a thousand pieces.

She decided that she needed to cool down and decided to head to the beach to relax and not worry. She asked for her dads permisson. He said yes and she got into a pair of ripped jeans, a white tank top, and a brown leather jacket. She put her hair into a high bun and walked out. (sorry if you have short hair. If you do then think of any kind of style you want. Or just let it down.)

She walked through the sandy beach. The soft breeze blowing at her, the sound of the salty water's gentle waved crashing against the white sand. The beautiful early sunset that was soon to set with oranges, pinks, and yellows on the horizon. It was a beautiful sight. She took off her sandals she was wearing and put her feet in the salty water. The perfect temperature. Not too hot, and not too cold. She closed her eyes and inhaled slowly. Taking in the salty air that surprisingly satisfied her. She exhaled and opened her eyes to meet the setting sun. It truely was a beautiful sight to see.

"Thinking of something?" A voice asked next to her. (Y/n) turned her gaze to meet a boy. He looked to be her age. The boy had red spiky hair, and red eyes that reminded her a bit of Bakugou. But Bakugou's were a bit more intense. More like a ruby kind, where as this boy's was a bright garnet.

(Y/n) shrugged her shoulders still looking out at the ocean. "Yeah, I'm trying to go for the hero course at U.A. But, I haven't gotten my letter yet. And it's due today at ten. So I'm just really worried." She explained. The boy looked at her with a sad smile but brightened up a bit. "That's where I'm going. I already got my letter. I got in. I'm sorry about you. I'm very sure you will get your letter." He said looking at the (h/c) haired girl next to him.

"Thanks, I needed that. Just had to blow off some steam, ya know?" She looked up at him and he smiled at her. He nodded and they both watched the sun set beyond the horizon.
