I actually put on a dress.

It's probably the only dress I own or at least one of a few that I have and it's nothing special, either, just a loose wine red dress with long sleeves. I have to put on dark thighs underneath, boots and a coat so I won't freeze, but it's still nice to get to dress up here and there.

I also do makeup which is really rare for me. I basically never wear any makeup, just when going out to a party, which is a very rare occasion, or when going out with Alex, like today for example. I leave my hair as it is, though, because I can't really make a miracle with it in such a short time, I just mess it up a little. I've never been good at doing my own hair, anyway.

Sometimes it's just nice being a girl and being reminded of it. It's nice doing all this girly stuff and feeling special.

Alexander whistles when I come out of the bedroom. I twirl around just for a bigger impact. "Damn, you're really hot."

I throw my hair over my shoulders, fanning my face at his compliment. "Why, thank you," I say charmingly.

He's in his usual attire, dark jeans and a leather jacket with dark boots, he only replaced his usual black shirt with a white one.

Alexander actually let me chose a movie. I know it must've taken a lot for him to let me make a decision since I love romantic movies and he just ... doesn't. He always complains when we watch TV together and there are certain movies that sound interesting and appealing to me, but Alexander just isn't into them.

He's more into horror which I stay away as far as possible because that's really not for me. Sometimes, we just meet in the middle and either watch a criminal movie which I'm mostly not happy about either, action or humour. But today I chose drama and even though Alexander had this weird face and complained that he's not a drama kind of a guy, he actually ends up enjoying it and he even liked it.

"Okay, but the ending was very weird," he says once we get out of the theatre.

"Why?" I ask, genuinely wanting to know. Alexander is not used to watching dramas with me and he doesn't know much about their unpredicting endings. That's why it's so much more fun because you never know how it's going to end.

"Because," he says, "it was just weird."

I give him a look. "Okay. Thank you for elaborating, I understand completely now."

He gives me a cheesy grin. "Heck, I don't even know how to explain."

One thing I'm still not completely used to is people's stares. That always makes me nervous everywhere we go because when I lived in France, I always felt like everyone was watching me for every movement I made, just waiting where they could attack me.

This is completely different now, I know. They watch Alexander mostly, or us as a pair because we really are opposite to each other in many ways. But Alexander is the one that always attracts attention everywhere we go. He just can't help it. People stare because of the way he looks. They blatantly stare at his tattoos. And, okay, they stare because he's hot, too.
