Chapter 33

Danny's P.O.V:

I was still tired and sweaty from play fighting with unckey Max. I knew if I wanted I could easily beat him but mommy told me to hide my strengths, even from family. Besides I liked all the attention they gave me when I acted cute and adorable. I laughed munching on a bunch of grapes. I loved them like mommy. She did some magic and turned the grapes to taste fizzy and I loved them. they tasted like the sodas unckey Max likes to drink all the time. I laughed and giggled for no reason other than the fact that I loved my life. I loved mommy more than any other person in the world. She saved me when I thought the big meanies were going to eat me. She loved me more than anyone else in her life and I loved her for it. I waved at some of the wolfies that were play fighting in the garden of our castle. I stopped in my tracks when I smelt something weird. It wasn't bad but it was different so I went to find it. mommy was already so busy and tired so I wanted to help her. I wanted to see if the new smell was bad or not. I followed the smell and it went through the forest where mommy loves running. I walk slowly and carefully to not step on sticks and alert the person with the smell. When I reach the place I can smell the most smell I stop and hide behind a tree. 

I look from behind it and see a huge man. He was very tall, even taller than mommy and he had even more muscle than unckey Adrian and Max. but he was still nice looking. He had bright golden hair like one warrior I saw and when he turned a little I saw his eyes were green just like the dark green on the trees and the grass. He was not wearing a shirt like unckey Dumont doesn't wear when he is training. He had huge tattoos on his shoulders and chest. But he had one tattoo I knew I saw somewhere but I don't remember. He had a pair of pants and a leather thing around his chest like a cross. On his back there were a pair of transparent wings but they shimmered and shone a little green when he moved. He was a huge sword on his waist that was shining in the suns light.

"hey!"

I am startled by the sudden sound above me and fall on the ground where the man can see me. He flew towards me and looked at me with amusement. I looked back to see what had startled me. It was a squirrel who was looking at me with a guilty expression and then it ran up the tree. I can talk to animals but mommy told me not to tell anybody about that too. I look up as the huge man stood above me. He had a smile on his face but I put on mommy's face that means 'I don't trust you'. He laughs and I don't know but I feel safe around him.

"you have got the poker face quite right there little guy. Here let me help you."

He helps me stand up and I do it and dust my pants off. All of a sudden I pull out the little knife mommy gave me for protection. I named him chucky. Like the killer doll from the movie I like, Even if it was scary. I pull out the knife and jump on the man with a loud cry, still taking care not to show all of my strength. He falls on his back with his wings under him and my knife at his throat. He looks at me in shock and I refuse the urge to smirk like mommy does when she does something like this.

"why are you here? Are you invited? Who are you?"

"whoa little one took me by shock there. quite the little fighter, aren't you? Shouldn't you know silver doesn't kill fae right?"

I finally do the smirk mommy does and flip the knife once in my hand and it's blade turns to iron and when I press the tip to his throat he hisses in pain and a red mark forms there

"answer me!"

"Well, I am here because I bring blessings from my people for the new queen and I am obviously invited and my name is Ethan, what's yours?"

I get off him and wipe my clothes for any dirt. Mommy would kill me if I got another shirt muddy.

"why were you entering through the forest instead of the gates? It's easier and I wouldn't have jumped you. My name is Daniel but everyone calls me Danny. If you want to meet the queen I can take you."

At that moment the huge bell on one of the towers rings and I wince and then put my hands on my face

"I'm late! Mommy is gonna kill me. She's not gonna give me cuddles and make me sleep in my room. I know I asked for the room but Ren embarrassed me and called me a baby for still sleeping with my mom. Ugh mommy won't give me cookies."

I groan on the verge of tears. The man, Ethan kneels down and wiped my tear.

"hey little one, don't worry I think you can still make it if you run real quick. Maybe I can find the queen on my own. And I'm sure your mommy won't hate you, or kill you. Run along now."

I look at him thankfully.

"thank you Mr. Ethan. I'm sure my mommy will like you, just make sure not to trouble her she gets angry real easily. Bye mister!"

"Wait! Why would I meet your mommy?"

He furrows his eyes in confusion and I laugh.

"'cause she's the queen silly! Bye bye!"

With that I run away leaving him staring after me open mouthed.

Idk what a kid sounds like but Danny sounds like a weirdo....... but I love him lols....... lemme know if you guys like Danny's POV and what you think is gonna happen next.
