Melissa's P.O.V:
It was almost noon yet and I had just woken up from the best sleep ever. I had taken a warm cozy shower all the while thinking of my gorgeous mate, whose name I still didn't know. I called onto mother last night and father was not there. mother came in my dream and told me how my mate was one in a million and the feelings he had for me were real. She said that he was still in his bed awake and thinking about me. Mother convinced me that he was my true mate and I should give him a chance and tell him about me being queen and all the stuff.
So, now I was in the gym waiting for him to come so I could tell him all and also that I already had a son. I already made up my mind that I would give him a chance but if he doesn't accept Danny I would tap out and gladly be mate less forever. I was taking all my anxiety and anger on the punching bag. I looked up in happiness when I thought he had finally come to meet me but frowned when I saw Adrian and Dumont enter. I went back to furiously punching the bag, my mind taking on the negative thoughts on how maybe he changed his mind and didn't want me anymore. Adrian and Dumont came and stood on either sides of me as I punched the living hell out of the punching bag. As soon as Dumont's hand tenderly caught mine I fell in a sobbing mess on the floor. He growled a threatening growl in my ear and I felt him move my hair to the side and once he saw the hickey he let out an even louder growl that shook the floor. I looked on Dumont's face and saw he was livid with anger, pacing around the room his fangs out wanting to draw blood. as soon as he opened his mouth to ask me who did it the door slammed open and hit the other side of the wall. My mate stood there his green eyes almost black in anger. I shivered under his gaze and Adrian tightened his arms around my shoulders. I saw my mates eyes zero in on Adrian's arms and I saw his wolf claws appear on his hands, his eyes turned almost the same shade of golden as mine. I was shocked, I don't think his wolf ever showed much less made him half shift. He growled out and said
"get away from her she's mine. MINE"
His voice was even deeper and I shivered once more as the mate bond tugged at me. I turned to Dumont when he heard what he said. Since Dumont left his mind open I heard what he was thinking. He thought the guy was someone like Marcus and just wanted me for power and forced me last night and gave me the hickey. Whereas my mate was thinking that Adrian had some sort of claim on me and was trying to take me away from him.
With one loud hiss Dumont launched himself fangs and all on my mate and I screamed. I didn't want them to fight, but no matter how much I screamed they still kept fighting. When they stopped for a minute I could see Dumont was bleeding from many cuts but he still didn't give up. My mate on the other hand just had a little cut above his jaw and a two deep cuts on his throat from where Dumont tried to bite him.
I was struggling in Adrian's arms but my strength was gone. I was too busy worrying about my mate that I didn't care who was holding me. I punched Adrian in the face, breaking his nose and he released me too surprised that I would hit him. I run in between my mate and Dumont. I stand in front of my mate just as Dumont was going to attack. I hiss at him with my own fangs and he looks at me in confusion.
"sister! Why are you doing this. Let me kill this bastard or hurting you"
"NO"
I growled at him. from the corner of my eyes I see Adrian rise and hold Dumont's arm.
"let's leave my friend let her sort this out."
"he hurt our sister Adrian. I will kill him!"
"well, you might as well kill our sister as well."
"what the fuck do you mean?"
"CAN'T YOU SEE HE IS HER MATE!"
Dumont looked at me in shock and stands down from his attacking pose. He gives my mate one more glare who is too busy snuggling in my neck to care. My mate was sniffing my scent like his life depended on it. he looks up when Dumont growls and sends him one of his own growls.
"if you hurt our sister I will rip you to shreds. I didn't get a chance at the other bastard but I have my eyes on you."
With that they leave the room and I am left alone with my mate, whose name I still don't know.
