Family Date

After we bid Ella and Dara goodbye it was almost 6 o clock in the evening when Lisa and I decided to go back to Seoul. She parked her car in front of a hotpot restaurant to have our dinner

“Are you alright? You were silent since we bid Ella goodbye Jennie. Is your head aching again?” she asked, seating in front of me

“I’m okay, I’m still shock to process everything that I remembered today, especially Ella’s death” I drank my bottle of water

She sadly smiled “What did you remember?”

“The orphanage we visited and her wish”

“Our family date?”

“Yeah”

“Really? You finally remember that? Our happy day?” she smiled

I slightly shook my head “No I still don’t remember it yet, just Ella’s wish in the orphanage while we’re watching a movie she didn’t like”

For a second, a slight disappointment flashed in her eyes and she looked away, averting her gaze to the waiter who came.

She ordered the same meal for the two of us and returned her attention again on me.

“Are you a fan of hotpot?” she suddenly asked

“Not really, why’d you ask?”

She shook her head and smiled “Nothing, this dish is somewhat special to me, it once saved me”

“Why? What happened to you in the past?” I curiously asked

The table has turned this time, it is me now who is asking about her past. Probably because I knew nothing about Lisa, all I know is she’s a perverted alien that came from Thailand with the attempt to steal me away from my long relationship boyfriend.

I don’t even know what is her favourite color

She just smiled at me as an answer

Very secretive.

I do remember her spouting nonstop stupid nonsense in the past, what happened now?

“But I do remember I once ate with a little girl in a hotpot restaurant before though” I started

Her eyes blink “Oh, who’s the little girl?”

“I don’t remember her name, I forgot to ask her that night we met”

“How did you two met?” she curiously asked

Before I could answer her, our order came. The nice fragrance of the soup made my stomach growl a little bit, I blushed when Lisa heard that and chuckled a little bit “You didn’t tell me you were that hungry Jennie”

“I forgot about it” I excused and looked away, embarrassed and just ate my meal silently

“You’re cute”

“What?”

She laughed “I said you’re cute” then winks

“Don’t flirt with me Lisa” I rolled my eyes

“You usually say that to me in the past but I know you liked my flirting”

I almost choke the soup, I wipe my mouth with the table napkin and throw her glares “Ops scary” she smiled wide

“Where did you get the confidence Manoban? I remember I don’t like you in the past. I like Kai okay? No let me repeat that, I love him. So can you please stop flirting with me and just tell me where is he?”
