After her crazy weekend with Icee, she went back to her life as if nothing changed. She worked with her clients every day, she hung out with her sisters, and she continued to spend time working on herself. She did not want to become so obsessed with every little thing Icee and the Facts could be doing, so she went on a social media hiatus. No Instagram, Snapchat, or TikTok, not even for her business. Most of her clients did not follow her social media accounts anyway, they were older clientele that maybe used Facebook still. Everything else was beyond them.

There was no need for her to flaunt her relationship with Icee. She did not discuss it with him but hoped he felt no need to as well. He had been with Bonnie for so long, people probably assumed they were still together. Even to her, the thought that Icee could get bored with her and move back to his ex or any other girl that was willing and able to do anything he wanted, was real. She had to trust in herself and believe that Icee was trying to be a good man for her.

They FaceTimed a lot, mostly short conversations because he was so busy. They texted a lot because that seemed to be what he had more time for. This was unlike any relationship she ever had, not that there were many.

"Sorry babe, I know I said I would call you earlier today, but we had to be in the studio till shit was right. I'm just now leaving and heading back to my hotel room."

"Don't worry about it Icee, I know how busy you are."

"Can't even complain either, this was what we wanted. Fame and fortune. I love it, but damn, sometimes I just want to breathe a minute. Like the weekend I spent with you, shit like that."

"I have barely traveled out of the state of Missouri Icee, so you traveling the world, most people would be envious."

"Why don't you travel more Kit? I mean, you're young, single, no kids, you can up and go as you please."

"Where would I go? I don't get out much."

"Why don't you come here?"

"Where? Atlanta?"

"Yes! Me and the Facts going to be here a few more days working on some tracks and promotion, just fly out babe, I got you."

"But Icee, if you're working—"

"Look, you're going to be my girl, you have to get used to being where I am if you want to see me. You do want to see me, right?"

"I miss you so much Icee."

"Then bring yo sexy ass on. I'll get the plane ticket and—"

"No, I'll pay my own way."

It was such a rush for her to buy a plane ticket and fly out to Atlanta the next day and meet up with Icee and the Facts at a studio. She had never done anything like that in her whole life. The most she had done was go to Chicago to visit her friend twice since they graduated college.

"Yo! Ms. Kitrina is in the hiz-ouse!" TA shouted excitedly when he saw her and came over to give her a big hug.

"Boy stop !" She pushed him away but played in his hair. He had it bone straight and flowing, a new look for him. "This is nice boy, why are you making all the girls jealous with this hair."

"I had to switch it up for the photoshoot we had today. Ice ain't the only one that can get his model on," TA said, striking a pose.

"Kit, come listen to what we've been working on. Have you met Spitfire, the dopest producer ever?" Icee was standing by Atlanta's best producer for the last ten years. He worked with anything hot coming from the Atlanta area and then started producing for others all over the world. He was in hot demand. He was the Timbaland/Jermaine Dupri of producing dope beats.
