Closer - Park Sunghoon ff

Lost - 19

After I left the Parks house, I first looked around the neighborhood of his. I went to every door and asked if they saw Sunghoon. I even showed pictures of him for help. I went through each block in his neighborhood. Jungwon's neighborhood was nearby so I checked there. I went to every door and knocked once again to see if they saw him, but no one has. I kept continuing on. I wasn't going to stop until I can find him. I then headed for the next neighborhood. I knocked on every door on every block, but no one has seen him. I then went to my neighborhood. I knocked on a few houses then finally I got a lead.

"Hi Mrs. Kang, have you seen this boy recently?" I asked my neighbor 6 houses down from mines.

"Hmm. He looks familiar..." She said thinking as she stared at my phone. "Oh yes, Saturday! I was coming home from the grocery store," She then said with a smile.

"Really!? Was he with anyone?" I asked.

"Hmm, I think two men," She said trying to recall.

Two men? Why would he be with two men? Better yet why is he in my neighborhood? I think she is referring to someone else. Plus shes a cute elderly woman. I don't know if I can trust her.

"Oh okay! Thank you!" I said smiling as I wave goodbye.

I am about to lose it. I can't find him. I can't seem to find him anywhere. Where could he be? I am going to lose it I am going to- My thoughts was suddenly cut off by someone screaming my name.

"KEMI! LEE KEMI!" 

I turned around from the noise. I see Mai and Jake running towards me.

"WHERE THE FRICK HAVE YOU BEEN!" She yelled. She then pulled me into a hug.

"Yeah! Where were you! I thought you were going to Sunghoons place?" Jake then said in an upset tone.

Sunghoon. Thats right I need to find him.

"You know your mother called because you never came home! Look at the time it is 9 pm Kemi! Why are you out so late!" Mai said still scolding me.

Sunghoon. Sunghoon. Where can he be. I can't find him. He is nowhere to be found.

"I even called Mrs. Park cause I thought you were still there!" Jake then said.

Mrs. Park? I need to find him so that his family can forgive me. I lost him. This is my fault.

"Jungwon and the others are looking for you too! I am going to- Hey are you even listening?" Mai said shaking me.

Sunghoon I need to find him. I have to go. 

"Sorry I'll see you tomorrow," I said and started to walk away.

"NO KEMI! You stay right here!" Mai said grabbing my arm.

"No let go," I said taking my hand back.

"No you stay here while I call the others!" Mai said angrily.

"NO LET ME GO!" I started yelling. I tried to pull away but her grip was too tight. "LET ME GO I NEED TO SEE HIM NOW! THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! I HAVE TO FIND HIM! I HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO FIND HIM," I continued. I then broke down into tears.

"I need to...I just need to find him...he has to come back home. WHERE IS HE!?" I said while I am crying. I dropped to the floor.

"Kemi! What's wrong?! What the hell happened?!" Mai said trying to calm me down. She then looked at Jake. "Go call Jungwon them now."

"I have to find him...I lost him...It should have been me...WHY DID THEY TAKE HIM AND NOT ME!" I said crying harder. 

"Kem! What happened?" Mai asked.

I looked up at her. "Sunghoon is missing."

"What do you mean missing?" Mai started getting concerned.

"It's my fault! It is all my fault!" I started saying.

"What do you mean?" Mai said starting to freak out.

"He went missing on Saturday," I said still sobbing.

"But you were-" Mai then got cut off from me.

"I KNOW I WAS WITH HIM I SWEAR HE WENT HOME! BUT HES NOT MAI! HE DIDN'T MAKE IT HOME! He isn't home. He didn't make it there. It is all because of ME. I AM AT FAULT! I SHOULD HAVE WENT AND GOT KIDNAPPED OR WHATEVER! FOR GOD KNOWS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! It should have been me...only me," I started yelling.

"KEMI!" someone yelled after.

10 minutes later...

"Wait what happened again?" Jay asked.

"Again? We just explained!" Jake then said.

"I know but I am still very confused," Jay then said.

"Can you guys shut up shes right there!" Mai said.

"I just want to know what happened! It doesn't make sense," Jay said.

"Jay I'll tell you later. Shes right there,"  Jungwon said.

"I'll tell him. I can hear you guys perfectly fine. Why don't we just talk about it? I can perfectly tell him detail by detail," I then said turning around in my seat since I was facing away.

If you are wondering where we are, well we are at an ice cream parlor by my neighborhood that is open 24/7. They thought it was okay to take me here. They think we should waste time on finding Sunghoon. Then again it isn't their fault. This is mines. I should go and start again. Right where I left off, but I will let them know what happened in detail.

"This is how I found out..." 

After 20 minutes passed...

"Kemi this isn't your fault," Jungwon said.

"It is," I said.

"No it isn't. The police are looking for him like you said," Jay then said.

"Exactly they will find him," Mai said.

Then Jake asked, "Was there anything strange before this happened?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Like did anything weird occur," Jake said.

"Yea were there signs of this going to happen?" Jungwon asked.

I started to think back of what happened before he went missing. I went from the beginning of our relationship to the end. Then it hit me. The account. The account that has been attacking me ever since I have met Sunghoon. I pulled out my phone.

k.lee02: You did this.

sskl.2253: Finally figured it out.

k.lee02: Where is he?

sskl.2253: Not saying. If I can't have him then you can't either.

k.lee02: What do you want from me? I will give you anything.

sskl.2253: really? anything?

k.lee02: Anything.

sskl.2253: 60 million and we call it even.

60 million? I can't do that! I am not rich. I am poor! I am broke as hell!

"Who are you texting?" Mai asked.

"The kidnapper," I responded.
