From Thoughts To Words

She Wears.

Ripped jeans - the ripped heart.

Too much makeup - the black eye
                                       the eye bags
                                       the split lip
                                       the slap marks

Long dresses - the scars.

Head scarves - the remaining strands.

Long sleeved blouses - the cut marks.

Faded clothes - the faded dreams.

Dull colours - the dull life.

All she wears is a cover up of all she has gone through,
And a representation of how her life is.
