I wake up in a similar white room to the one from the infinity pool however this time Kayden and Kai were standing across from me as Kyla followed behind me "Aaliyah" Kayden calls out causing his voice to echo "What is this?" I ask confused "I have no idea" he replies walking towards me "the last I remember we...we collapsed in the Arena" I say now remembering seeing him fall "Wait so you fell too?" He asks "Or are you fake" He touches me "Oh you're actually here" he says looking surprised "What are we doing here" I say looking around "It's probably another challenge" he shrugs his shoulders "All I know is this is by far the weirdest challenges this year and they're a lot harder" he says looking at me "Guess all we can do is wait" I say turning to Kyla as I stroke and hold her. For some reason she looked bigger than usual "Aaliyah I know I've done this a million times and apologised a million more but I swear to you I haven't intentionally done anything stupid since I left Ayala from that day on I made sure it was only you and me" he says from behind me "Aaliyah I promise I'd never do anything to intentionally hurt you I wasn't even meant to tell you which I know doesn't make it any better but I'd rather have told you when you were more sure of how I felt about you" he says his voice now closer "Aaliyah im so sorry" he says snaking his arms around my waist and leaning his head on my shoulders. I really didn't know what to say I know I couldn't trust him after all the times he hurt me and I wasn't sure if he even meant what he was saying but I didn't want to fight any longer I didn't want anything else coming in the way I did want to to talk it out and forgive but not forget. I turn to him taking a deep breath "I know you're sorry and I get that and whether you meant to hurt me or not you did, it may have been in the past but the fact it took a truth spell for you to tell me hurt especially when I felt like we were actually getting somewhere" I say embarrassed about revealing my emotions to him "So there is hope?" He says sounding both optimistic and delusional "I'm not saying we're good but we're not completely bad" I reply sick of holding grudges "Thank you Aaliyah" he says sliding his hand through my hair holding my head in his hand. For some reason the warmth of my hand caused me to close my eyes and melt into his palms. I jump as Aaliyah growls at Kayden. I turn back to her confused I thought she like Kayden I knew she liked Kai

"What's wrong is she okay?" Kayden asks looking genuinely concerned "She's fine I just" I look back at Kai "Can I" I say pointing to Kai. Kayden looks back at him before nodding his head. I stand up and walk over to Kai. The closer I get the more afraid he looked. He looks down at me and begins to pace backward "Hey I'm not going to hurt you" I say walking slowly towards him Not right now but you will he says bowing down and getting into a similar position as Kyla it's already been done now we wait he says as he rolls over I crouch down toward him "what is it? What's done?" I ask but he simply whimpers in response. I look back at Kayden who seemed just as confused as I was. I stand wanting to walk back over to Kyla when a sharp pain courses through my torso.

I fall back to my knees now experiencing what felt like the worst cramps imaginable "Aaliyah what's wrong" Kayden says sliding towards me "Ahhh" I say in pain holding the sides of my stomach "it must be something happening on the outside" I say breathing heavily "is there anything I can do to help?" He says his eyes now bulging. I shake my head trying to breathe "Aaliyah please tell me what I can do" he pleads with me "I don't know" I say now crying due to the pain "It hurts" I huff out.

Even as an alpha and a Lycan I couldn't handle the stabbing pain. It was getting harder and harder to breathe as the pain got worse. I let out another cry as Kayden whistles causing Kai to jump up and wrap himself around me. my body begins to warm up. The pain slowly begins to fade away as I disappear into yet another blacked out dream.

Suddenly I wake back up in Kaydens arms as we lie against Kai I look up to see Kyla was still watching from a far I'm sorry I couldn't do more to help you Aaliyah Kyla mindlinks to me What was that? I ask now feeling a lot better. She turns her head away from me All I can say it that is has nothing to do from the outside she says suspiciously.

I look at her confused why wasn't she telling me the whole story. I look back at Kayden who's eyes were still closed You've been asleep for hours he's stayed there watching you making sure you were alright. You got a little restless again so he held you and you fell right back asleep she explains me. I look down at him realising I hadn't even felt a thing since lying on Kai.

After Kayden finally wakes up we have a long talk and he gives me the run down of camp which was a lot more in depth than Jays. I was surprised at how easy it was to talk to him it felt like the times we spent together where I'd make cookies and milk for us on the balcony. I turn and look at him as we lay against Kai. I'm not sure if it was the fact it was only the two of us here but something about him seemed different.

"Aaliyah" he whispers my name as the air from his whisper tingles against my neck "Yes" I say turning from him to look at the white nothing "I really am sorry" he's says tucking a piece of hair behind my ears. I lay there and take a deep breath as a single tear slips from my eyes "Please don't cry" he says thumbing the tear from my cheek " I want to trust you again. I love having you as a mate and as a friend but it's just" I break "it's just so hard" I say letting another tear slip "my family expect so much from me to be the future Alpha if I can't handle stupid stuff like this how am I gonna handle the world." He lets out a huff "Aaliyah that's not the same. It's not the worlds job to love and protect you it was mine and I couldn't have been a worse employee" he says attempting to cheer me up "it's not just that there's been so much pressure on me to be the first female alpha or the kings pack but what if we get married I'd have to give that up and become your Luna" I say wiping my tears "Aaliyah I don't-" I cut him off "I know you'd never expect me to but what would everyone else think not that you'd even want to marry me it's just that-" he then cuts me off "I'd fucking love to marry you" he says looking at me dead in the eyes "But I know that's not what you want, need or are ready for right now so I'll wait it out until I know and until I've earned your trust" he says wiping my my tears before kissing my forehead. I sniff up the rest of the tears feeling stupid for crying in front of him "Let's just kill the rest of the time till we get out of here" he says as we look for another topic.

We end up talking about his childhood and how he and Caroline would play with their Luna in the garden and Caroline would make fake potions and have Kayden as her gatherer. I loved hearing about his Luna I hardly ever saw her but she sounded amazing from what I've heard from Kayden and Caroline. As he's talking about the time he fell off a tree I suddenly fall back into a black abyss.

Kayden

Aaliyah falls into a sleep. I hold my hand out and catch her before she falls completely "Aaliyah" I say attempting to wake her. I shake my head hoping our packs would get us out of here soon I'm not sure how many more of these she can take. "Kai" I call out as I whistle him over. Suddenly he growls at me moving in closer. He charges towards us causing me to stand wraping around Aaliyah protectively. I hold her in my arms ready to protect her when I see Kyla's white fur lung over the top of us standing protectively against Kai.

I watch as they bare their teeth and eachother. It looks as if they were communicating with eachother "This is our one chance to stop this all" I hear Kai "No you can't I don't care this is Aaliyah" Kyla replies "We will reincarnate it's better to put her out of her misery now" he says threatening to kill Aaliyah.

They both turn their heads to Aaliyah and I before charging towards us. I stand ready to protect us when suddenly...
