On August 20, a media outlet announced that BIGBANG's G-Dragon and BLACKPINK's Aster has broken up.
YG Entertainment later confirmed the news, "It is true that the two artists under our company have broken up after almost 3 years of dating. The rumors of a third party were, unfortunately true. We have yet to ask our artist who is the involved woman."
BIGBANG's G-Dragon and BLACKPINK's Aster were confirmed to be dating on October 26, 2018. They have been together since February 2017.
