Caramel pov
I pull up to the Cullen house and I walk in. I go upstairs and see everyone in the kitchen. "What's going on?" I ask
"We're cooking for the human" rose tells me and I can tell she is not happy. "What human?" I ask confused "Bella,she's Edwards mate" Esme tells me "Where is Alice and jasper?" I look around and don't see them or hear them. "They went hunting" Carlisle tells me next and I nod and wash my hands and go over and help rose.
She smiles at me and I smile back. We all then hear a car pull up outside and we can smell the human.
"Get a whiff of that,here comes the human" rose huffs and I laugh.
Edward then walks in with a brown haired girl and she looks plain if you ask me but I won't judge.
"Hello Bella" Esme greets her. I hear my phone ding and see a text from my brother. I sigh and just decided to ignore it for now.
"That's caramel" I hear and I look up and smile at Bella.

"You don't have the gold eyes?" She said confused and I chuckle "because I'm an original dear but I will tell you all about it later" I say. She nods and I hear a noise and look to see Alice and jasper come in. I watch as Alice hugs and sniff the poor girl "Alice wha?" Edward starts and Alice gives him a pointed look. "Don't worry me and Bella will be great friends I seen it" she told him and walks back over to Jasper.
"It's ok jazz you won't her" she said to him I noticed the struggle and I walk over and hold his other hand. I don't know why I did it though but it felt right.
'Was mike right?'
He seems to be calm. "Hello" jasper said in his accent
They then walk away after Rose basically yelled at Bella and broke the glass bowl.
"Clean this up" Esme tell the blonde "if you hate her so much kill her that's what me and my siblings do" I shrug and sit down and they all look at me. "Oh right sorry forgot" I tell them.
"Hey can I talk to you two?" I ask Alice and jasper and they nod. I get up and walk off and I hear them follow me.
We go back to where I'm staying and sit down on the couch
"What is a mate really?" I ask after a minute.
They look confused "I mean I know what it is but like why is it important?" I ask.
"It's a strong connection you have with someone" jasper starts

I sit and listen to them and I'm inspired and intrigued. I love how they look at each other. I remember when me and Caleb use to look at each other like that,like we were the only two on the world.
"So that's nice and all but I want to know why you to seem so in to me?" I ask
They look at me and then each other and I sit and wait for a response. "Because your our third mate" Alice told me with a big smile.
I sit there trying to process what she just said to me. I don't know if I can be with someone else. I don't know if I'm the right person for them. They're so nice and loving and I'm just me,a monster because of my mother.
I feel a hand hold mine and I look up and see Alice. "It's ok" "We don't care about your past caramel" jasper said walking over and holding my other hand. "I just don't want to disappoint anybody" I say to them.
"And you won't not now not ever" Alice told me and I nod still trying to wrap my head around everything.
"I think I'm willing to try" I whisper knowing they can hear me. "Yay" Alice said and hug me. I hug her back and she pulls away and I hug jasper. I never been with two people before but I guess I can try.
