-5.30am-

"Wake up. Waaaaaakeeeee uppppppppppppp-"

I wake to the sound of Peter Parker whining in my ear. I could hear his face right next to mine and slapped it, slowly opening my eyes.

"Ow-"

"For f*ck sake, shut up Peter." growled Loki.

"Fine, but you need to get up." said Peter, rubbing the side of his face.

"Why?" I groan, turning around to face Loki's chest and lying my head on him.

"Because from Stark Tower we have to get the bus, and it gets here in an hour. You need to shower, get into your new clothes and come with me." explained Peter, peeling the duvet off of us.

"Ughhhhhh, I hate you." I moan.

"I love you too, now move." he demands.

I sit up slowly, but Loki pulls me back down to him, cuddling me tightly.

"No." he pouted.

I elbow him in the stomach and he yelps, letting go of me and sitting up.

"Alright, fine I'm up. You could've just.. asked nicely." he mumbles.

"Don't get me started-"

"Guys, shut up. We need you to eat breakfast because we're gonna be lateeeee." Peter groans.

With that, we go downstairs and make some pancakes, because peter says it'll put us in 'good spirit'.

"What? Good spirit?" I question.

"Yeah. Pancakes give good vibes. Just, go with it." he explains.

We eat the pancakes and get dressed into 'normal clothes'.

For me, I was wearing jeans with rips in them (I don't know why Peter bought them if they were ripped..) and a fitting black top.

Loki was wearing a pair of black pants and a matching black t-shirt.

"I look like.. a goth." Loki mumbles.

"It's just your hair makes it look like that, just ignore it. You're not." Peter explains.

We THEN have to gather all of the blank textbooks that we had to buy for each subject, and bring our 'gym stuff' for 'gym class'.

When we were ready to go, Peter lead us to the bus stop and we got onto the bus, all the kids staring at us as we sat in the back.

"Why are they staring?" I ask.

"First of all, new kids always get stared at. Second, you two are surprisingly 'good looking' for average high school students. Thirdly, everyone saw those interviews." Peter explained.

"That makes sense..." Loki chuckles.

I elbow him in the stomach and he gives me a 'what?' look. He rolls his eyes and puts an arm around my shoulder, hugging me into him.

"Are you ready for the biggest snore-fest of your life?" Peter asks as the bus pulls up outside of the school.

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad." Loki suggested as we get off of the bus.

We meet Ned and MJ by the gates and everyone seems to stare at us as we walk past, muttering and gossiping with each other.

-before first lesson-

"Can I kill that one?" Loki asks, snarling at the fourth girl in ten minutes he's asked if he can kill.

"No!" Ned yells, for the fourth time.

I lean over to Loki's ear and whisper, "Yes. Later.", which makes him laugh.

We go to our first class, which is called 'maths', which I'm pretty sure is what we called 'numeracy' on Vanaheim.

Me and Loki were assigned seats at the back, which neither of us were happy about.

"Why does she get to pick where I sit?" I mumble.

"I don't wanna sit at the back. Stupid bitc-" Loki begins, being cut off by Peter covering Loki's mouth with his hand.

"Alright class, I hope you all completed the homework this week, with the exception of a few of you." the teacher began, "But we have two newcomers with us. We have Loki and (Y/n) joining us today so, welcome to you two. And, welcome back Peter."

I keep my head down as she talks, already imagining how many ways I could stab her with my dagger.

"You hate her. I can tell." Loki whispered.

"Oh? Is it that obvious?" I mutter.

Loki leaned over to whisper something to Peter, who -like the rest of the class- was writing something down in his book.

"Peter said we can't leave." Loki said.

"What!? They can't stop me from leaving-"

"Apparently they can. Also, are we supposed to be writing something?" he asked.

"Yeah, but i dont have a clue what it's supposed to be..." i chuckle.

Then, someone handed out a worksheet, all of which was really simple numeracy.

"Please work on this until the end of the lesson. And if you've finished, make a start on the other side of the worksheet." the teacher announced, going back onto her phone.

Me and Loki both finish both sides within five minutes and just chat for the next 25 minutes.

"And then Njord was like '(Y/n), why would you feed your horse spaghetti?' and I just stood there, confused. Lucius seemed to enjoy the spaghetti though, so I still don't quite understand what all the fuss was about." I explain, me and Loki laughing together quietly.

Our laughter was short lived as there was a huge crash heard outside.

Screams and shouts filled the classroom and running was heard in the hallway. I looked straight to Peter and Loki in bewilderment.

"Uhm, is this normal at school?" I ask, hesitantly.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!?" shouted a guy, who I learnt is called Flash.

All of the other students would cram up to the window to see what on Earth has happened, and that's when I saw the familiar pattern of the bi-fröst on the road.

"Is that..." began Peter.

"Who is that?" asks Ned, "Is she friendly?"

"That is... well, was... my..." I begin.

"Love, what's wrong?" asks Loki.

"That was my mother..."
