"hey handsome" i smiled to myself as i felt a set of arms wrap around my waist.

"you ready?" pop asked in my ear before giving my neck a few kisses.

"really ready" i turned to him. "you look good in pink" i smiled at what he was wearing for our gender reveal party later today.

"you look good in white" he licked over his bottom lip pulling me to him. "witcho' lil bump" he smiled running his hand along my stomach.

"Nas ready?" he nodded. "you ain't mess my baby's hair up did you" i sighed walking out our room and making my way into Nas's.

"mama!" he giggled reaching for me.

"hey bub" i smiled picking him up.

I'm happy to say that Nas is finally a 1 year old 😩. y'all it felt like it was just yesterday when i looked at pop staring at him when we were in the hospital.

"look at these curls" i ran my finger through his very curly hair. "daddy dressed you up nice, didn't he" i smiled.

"i always do" pop chuckled. "you ready? ima go get the car started" he leaned over kissing my cheek before leaving the room.

"daddy always rushin' somebody" i rolled my eyes picking Nas up.

after strapping Nas in his car seat, we left out the house and went on our way to pops parents house for the party.

"you nervous at all?" pop asked as he laid his hand on my thigh rubbing it lightly with his thumb while he drove.

"yes. but not as much as i was the first time" he chuckled. "we might actually have a daughter"
i smiled.

"yea i shoulda thought about that shit" i furrowed my eyebrows. "ima have to hide her in the fuckin' house if she look anything like you. Lil ass boys gon' be in trouble"

"shut up. i ain't even all that"

"if you wasn't the love of my life i would punch you" he shook his head. "pretty ass"
