"Wh.. What? A murder? I mean how could you say that she might have done that? I saw her while literally dying on the road.. She was bleeding.. almost Half-dead... How come she can kill a person at that situation? ", I become furious hearing the police officer confronting her.
"Excuse me sir, calm down.. I'm not saying she's the murderer.. We are just suspecting her.. That's all".
"NO... Why you are suspecting her? This is impossible", I proclaimed.
"who knows? Her heart beat is stable even now.. It's still 72...there are possibilities that she may have been strong enough to kill a person at that situation too....as you say half dead ", the inspector said.
Then I realized.. I should not have spoken for her... because i think that might have stimulated the inspector's mind. He was clearly getting points and evidence to accuse her.
I sighed and sat on the nearby chair. My mind raced with lot of questions... I want answers for all of them otherwise my head is sure to be blown up like a dynamite.
Something had happened at that time. I have to find out what. Who was that? And why the hell had he been killed or who knows...found dead at that spot where veronica was found.
I did not realise time passing...I think I had been waited for an hour in the same chair, not changing my position, sat like a stone, only my mind wandered here and there. After that the doctor came out as usual wondering and muffling words like, "miracle, shocking, research ".
He saw me standing up for his arrival, he extended his hands and shook mine happily, 'like sharing the news of the baby-born'. But he said, "everything went well, the operation was a success, she'll be alright, all the best for your future ".
