Mal's POV

A couple weeks had passed by and Cedric and I had started distancing ourselves from each other. He knew the truth now. And I had to face it. The person who attracts me is Draco Malfoy. Bloody Brilliant. Draco had finally heard the truth from the others in the class, and by others I mean no other than Pantsy. What a snitch. He had been trying to talk to me more any chance he got but I used every free moment I had to hide away in my dorm or in the library. I can't face him. Not yet. Not when I am barely able to admit the truth to myself. I had just finished up painting something new when I heard a knock on my door. I stumbled back when I saw it was Draco.

"What are you—" He stopped me.

"Come with me, I want to show you something." Draco extended his hand to me and I hesitated for a couple seconds before finally taking it. I gasped as I felt his cold hands cover my eyes, I tried to pry them off but he insisted. "Don't ruin the surprise Katerina." I couldn't help but feel slightly nervous about what this boy had planned.

After a couple more minutes, or maybe seconds, of walking, he helped me down onto something that felt like the ground, or possibly grass, and took his hands off my eyes. I looked around me and saw nothing but a plain hill of grass, which we were sitting on top of.

"Where are we? You're not planning on pushing me down this hill, are you?" I teased, still slightly nervous about the possibility of it with him.

"Don't tempt me." He grinned and I couldn't help but smile at how his face formed long dimples in both of his cheeks when he grinned. "Just look up." I rolled my eyes but did as he said, and I don't regret it. The sky was filled with beautiful, bright stars, it looked as if someone had painted them on, I had never seen so many stars in my life. One was even bigger and brighter than the others. "Nice, isn't it?" Draco nudged me.

"Nice?" I scoffed, "it's beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen something so beautiful in my life."

"You mentioned something about never seeing a sky full of stars so I figured I would show you."

"This is amazing, seriously Draco, it's beautiful. Thank you."

"I can think of something more beautiful" He basically whispered.

"So 'unoriginal'" I teased and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Come" He sat on the ground and opened up his legs so I could sit in between them, I nervously obliged and he wrapped his arms around my waist, putting his chin in the space between my neck and shoulder. He pointed to the big, bright star I had been looking at moments ago "see that one?" I nodded. "That's Venus, that's why it's so much bigger than the others. Because it's not a star, it's a planet. And you see that one?" He pointed at another bright star, "that's Sirius, it's supposed to be one of the brightest stars in the sky or something like that."

"'Or something like that'" I repeated and he squeezed my leg playfully. I leaned more into him, appreciating his wonderful scent. Weird? Maybe. But I swear nothing and no one smells as good as Draco Malfoy.
