I don't really know what camping is like but I hope you enjoy the camping arc! I tried my hardest but I would appreciate any constructive criticism and corrections! :)

Also... I did a big author boo boo. I made a mistake and said that it was Flynn's dad that wanted to go camping like two chapters ago... so what I'm going to do is edit the last chapter to match. If you've already read the last chapter before the change, well let's just pretend that Flynn's dad showed up at Zach's house before Flynn and Ben arrived.

When we arrived at the camping ground, everyone seemed to have already unloaded their cars.

"Jeez, take your time." Liam sneered, "some of my luggage was in your car."

"Sorry." I replied, opening the boot up for him. I turned around to take a good look at where we were. Usually we would go to the same camping ground every year, but this year, as agreed, Ben picked the location.

He picked a good one too. We were by the coast, so we could go to the beach if we wanted, usually we just went to the woodlands in the middle of absolute nowhere. Since it was just what we were used to, we thought it was best to just keep it as is.

To my left, there were a couple of boats on the sandy beach, and a group of young guys played volleyball nearby. Further ahead, there was a visitor's cabin, and beyond that, some residential cabins. They probably cost more than the normal ones since they overlooked the sea.

Beside me, Liam cleared his throat a little too loudly, giving me a mini heart attack. "So... are you going to help?"

"No thanks, you can ask Ben, I'm sure he'd love to do all the heavy lifting." I replied with a snicker. I grabbed one of the foldable chairs, unwrapped the bag it was in, and placed it down so that I was facing the sea. I could hear Liam curse behind me as he pulled out a cool bag from the boot.

Ben, who had come back from the visitor's centre with a stack of leaflets, sighed when he saw the sight of me. I was used to it, sighing tended to be the usual reaction from not just him, but a surprising number of people. He dumped all the leaflets down on my lap, leaving one for himself to read. I too, grabbed a leaflet and opened it up to a detailed map of the perimeter.

I was about to chuck it to the side, before realising the reason Ben wanted to come to this specific camping ground; there were at least a dozen sporting activities around, the whole place seemed more like a resort rather than a camping ground, but I don't think anyone would have any strong objections, especially Jace, who was apprehensive about camping in the first place. Ben told me in the car that Jace had bought at least three different devices to game on, and two heavy-duty power banks as well as a small one he can carry around without it weighing him down.

"Stop trying to force me into fitness. I won't do it."

"Well, you can be a loner while we all have fun." He retorted, even sticking his tongue out at me. Liam grabbed the leaflet I held in my hands, and examined it closely. Soon enough, a group had huddled around me, taking leaflets from me lap and standing a little too close. I suddenly felt hot and claustrophobic, considering they were all standing and I was sat down.

"Do these activities need to be pre-booked?" Zach's cousin, Sam, who had the brightest and blondest hair I had ever seen, said.

"Yes, but on the reviews I read online, someone said there's always free spaces so you can even book on the day without any issues." Ben replied to him nonchalantly.

"I want to do rock climbing." Zach's other cousin, named Tim, said. The three of them got so engrossed into the conversation, that any worries I had about Ben feeling like an outcast, vanished. I grumbled at how easy it was for him since he was really athletic and that would always be a positive talking point. Part of me hoped there would at least be some sort of challenge.
