Better Than Nothing

You wake up feeling Dean's arms around you and you couldn't keep the smile from your face. It had been a couple of days since Dean officially asked you to be his girlfriend and since then you two have been nearly inseparable. You gently wiggle from out of his grasp and pull the sheet up around you as you flip around to look at your sleeping hunter. He looked so calm when he slept. His face would soften and his muscles would relax making him look a little younger. His hair was completely crazy like every morning and the light coming through your little one-way window would highlight the freckles on his cheeks. There was no better way to start your day than seeing Dean like this. Most mornings you would kiss his freckles till he woke up with a smile, but this morning you wanted to let him rest. After the night you had *blushes furiously* he would need it. You sat there watching him, getting lost in his features.

"Quite staring it's creepy," He says with a smirk opening one eye to look at you.

"Good morning to you too" you giggle while leaning in to kiss him. You gently place your lips on his and he quickly reacts to your touch pulling you on top of him making you squeal slightly.

"Round three?" Dean asks with a raised eyebrow. You run your hand over his bare chest and move up to whisper in his ear. You felt his muscles stiffening underneath you as you traced circles on his collar bone.

"We have a case," you say seductively before pulling yourself off of him quickly with the sheet wrapped around you. You feel him grunt in frustration and you just giggle. "But if you want to join me, I need to take a shower" you smirk walking into your private bathroom. You watch as his face goes from shock to excitement as he quickly jumps out of bed to follow you inside.

"You two used up all the hot water" Bobby complained as soon as you walked into the kitchen. Sam just chuckled and returned to drinking his coffee.

You shrugged looking at Dean since you knew he would say something witty.

"Sorry Bobby just got carried away," he says with a smirk. You watched as Bobby gave him a threatening glare and Dean's face drops the grin. "Won't happen again" he says looking at Bobby but turns to see you as you playfully pout. "Who am I kidding it will probably happen again," he corrects himself, walking over to the coffee pot as you smile.

You just giggle watching Sam shake his head silently laughing and Bobby's angry face staring Dean down. Bobby then directs his attention to you which you just roll your eyes and turn to kiss Dean on the cheek. His smirk returns sending shivers down your spine.

"So any cases?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, found something," you say grabbing the coffee Dean made for you and sitting at the table.

"There has been an increase in the frequency of missing person cases in Southern Iowa for the last week with all the reports originating around a 50-mile parameter. I looked into the history records and it turns out every other year or so different states have an increase in missing person cases around this time of year always for a two-week period and always within a 40-70 mile parameter"

"Sounds fun," Dean says enthusiastically setting his empty mug in the sink. "Any idea what?"

"Not so far"

"When are we leaving?" Sam asks also getting up.

"I was thinking as soon as possible"

"Sounds great," Dean says while sneaking his arms around you and kissing the back of your neck making your heartbeat quicken.

"I'll go pack. Be ready in 20"

The boys then leave and you turn your attention to Bobby who was looking straight at you.
