Anisha looked really relived looking at her dad..
"You took too long, so I came looking for you...what took you so long? I was worried.."

Anisha felt warm in her numb hands..

Her father looked at her doubtfully... Then looked at the side and found someone else was there...
Only then he noticed
"Ah!! Your highness!"
He was so worried about his daughter that, he didn't noticed that the crown prince was there..
"We greet his highness, the crown prince..Long live the future sun of this empire.."
Marquis Verita greeted politely..
"Why did you say 'we' ?? Because, I didn't greet him.."
Only then, Duke Castillo spoke..who was besides the Marquis all along...
Smiling happily.. Which is more like a smirk..attached to his face perfectly..
Marquis Verita glared at the Duke and gestured him to greet politely.. But Duke Castillo acted like he didn't noticed..
Finally, the crown prince broke the awkward silence and spoke

Duke Castillo's smile deepened..

Egar spoke again
"....well, I'll be going then..I have some work to do..So, see you then.."
"Yes, stay safe your highness.." (Marquis)
"Bye~" (Duke)
With that, Egar start to walk towards his office..
When he was gone..Duke Castillo looked at Anisha and said...
"Were you really lost, lady Verita?"
"Huh?"
Anisha was confused..Did her lie didn't worked?
She was thinking what to say...but then, Duke Castillo spoke again...
".....nothing... Just...."
He stopped halfway, looking at the Life Tree blankly....And said again..
"You should just, avoid this ominous place..."
His eyes looked blank and empty..
It was the same, at the emperors chamber as well...
Anisha looked at him
'Why does his eyes looked so sad?'
Duke Castillo erased his expression and smiled again..
He then looked at Marquis Verita and spoke..
"I'll be going then.."
"Take care"
Marquis Verita said..
Duke Castillo chuckled a little... Then, smiled broadly and tapped his hand on Marquis Veritas shoulder..
"Yeah..you too! And take care of your daughter aswell..She is such a lovely lady..Don't let her rote in this dirty imperial palace.."
With that, Duke Castillo walked away..
Only the two of them remain there..
After a moment, Marquis Verita looked at his daughter and gripped her hand tightly.. And spoke in a warm tone..
".......Let's go"
Anisha didn't replied.. She only nod her head..
And, the two of them start to walk towards their carriage...Silently...
No one said a word..but, the silence was calming... It calmed Anisha down...
