Isang linggo buhat ng dumating si Micaela ay ang birthday ng tita Bella niya. Busy ang lahat sa paghahanda at pag-aayos. Gusto ni Mrs. Alano na isang intimate party lang for the family ang mangyari. Walang press, walang politcians. Just family.
"Happy Birthday Tita Bella." Bati ni Micaela dito nang madatnan sa garden.
"Salamat hija. Nasaan si Ziara?"
"As usual andun sa lolo."
"Your tatay can't get enough of his apo."
"Nagkausap na ba kayo ni Zian?"
"Hindi pa po tita." Naupo si Micaela.
"Don't you think it's about time that you settle whatever it is that you both left hanging?"
"Actually I am planning to call Zian one of these days. Nagiipon lang ako ng lakas ng loob. Panahon na din para makilala niya ang anak niya..."
"You missed him?"
"So much tita Bella, there was never a time na nawala siya sa isip ko."
"Did I hear it right? you missed me?" si Zian.
Micaela wasn't able to answer. Nagulat ito sa boses na narinig.
"Z-Zian?!"
"Micaela..."
Tumayo si Micaela and went to embrace Zian. She was not able to control her tears.
"God, I missed you so much Micaela. I am about to lose my mind." He kissed and hugged her tightly not letting go.
"O teka, maiwan ko muna kayong dalawa ha. You two catch up." Si Tita Bella. Pumasok ito sa loob ng bahay.
"I missed you so much Micaela. You don't know what you did to me. I'm sorry for causing you too much pain..."
Micaela just rested on Zian's shoulders crying while she remained wrapped in Zian's embrace.
"I'm sorry Zian. I should have given you the chance to explain yourself. Nabalot na ako nang galit at sama ng loob...I didn't even think that you were hurting too. I am so selfish..."
"It's over now Micaela. This time we will start things right and I am making sure na hindi ka na mawawala sa akin kayo ng anak natin." Zian wiped her tears and he kissed her again.
And when he let go "Nasaan nga pala ang anak natin? Sino ang kamukha? ikaw o ako?"
Lumabas si Senator dala-dala si Ziara.
"Ziara meet your daddy..." Kinuha ito ni Micaela sa ama at ibinigay kay Zian.
"Ziara, this is daddy... daddy this is Ziara."
