I picked out the last ballot slip, everyone decided that I would do well even with a hard medium so they put me at the back of the line. I didn't mind because in my opinion all mediums were pretty difficult to master.

I walked back to Tommy's seat and placed the slip on his table before going back to my own table to bring my seat over.

"Clay, interesting," I said as I opened the slip in front of Tommy. He suddenly laughed really loudly as I said that. I tilted my head and raised an eyebrow at him, not understanding why the word 'clay' was so funny to him.

We had one month to complete the project, so we had to work fast. Considering how we would probably take quite a long time to master the way to properly sculpt with clay.

All other classes in school were not allowed to give us any homework for the whole month to let us focus on our art works. It was a special thing the school did as the students here excelled more in art based subjects.

It wasn't too great for students like Izzy, Jacob and Oliver though. They were better at more science based subjects and this whole month was just going to be pure torture for them.

Class ended and there was a free period before lunch as it was meant for us to discuss our plans for the project and create a proposal for all the materials we would be using.

Just as I expected, no one was even doing any real discussions about the project. Some of the boys in class started to gather in one group to play a video game loudly. Occasionally looking towards me to see if I noticed them.

"What is their problem?" I asked Izzy who was as agitated by their noise as I was.

"They probably heard what you said about liking gamers," She replied as she put her fingers in her ears. Tommy immediately looked up from his phone and stared at me momentarily before going back to his phone.

I kept quiet before turning behind to see Oliver on his phone playing PUBG as well.

"Seriously?" I asked. Oliver not even looking up from his screen replied, "Hey I've been playing since last year I'm not a poser."

I jabbed his arm with my finger before looking back at Izzy who had already left her seat to talk to Jacob.

"This sucks," I said as I leaned on the table into the crook of my arm. Tommy kept his phone and walked over to my seat. He squatted next to the left side of my table and held a hand out, I got the signal and took his hand following him as he left the class.

He brought me out to the school garden where his two friends were also waiting for him.

"Y/N!" Lucas ran towards me and gave me a hug. I patted him on his back as I didn't know how to react to his sudden embrace. He reminded me of a golden retriever.

Soon, he let go of me and I sat on a bench nearby as the three boys sat on the floor in front of me playing Minecraft on their phones.

It was so entertaining to watch the three of them rage at each other when they lost. It was also funny to me because I didn't even understand half of the things they were even saying. It was as if they were speaking in military code or something.

The day ended earlier than usual as the Teachers all had to attend a conference meeting with school advisers.

"Hey look at this video," Tommy said as he lowered his phone for me to see the video. It was an Eboy doing transitions on TikTok which someone reposted to Twitter.

"That's so cringy," I replied in disgust, "Definitely an American."

"I'm gonna try to remake it," He said as he laughed and retracted his hand. I looked right up at him and snickered. He was going to look so dumb.

Later on in the afternoon, I watched as Tommy set up his PC's to recreate the video of the Eboy. I felt secondhand embarrassment for him. He was putting in way too much effort for a 'joke'.

He started his recording and played a part from the song 'That's What I Like' by Bruno Mars. I knew that this wasn't going to end well. I leaned out of the window and watched him film himself doing his cringy reenactment of classic Eboy faces.

"You know one day that video is going to resurface and be the bane of your existence right?" I said to him as he looked through the footage he recorded.

"It's funny, trust me people will know it's a joke," He said as he uploaded the video to his Twitter. I internally facepalmed at his response as I shook my head.

"Anyway I'm going to stream soon, are you gonna come over?" He said as he clicked into Twitch.

"Sure give me a sec," I went out of my room to check if my parents were home yet. They weren't so I assumed that they had already left to check on the other house.

I climbed through to Tommy's room and sat on his bed silently with my earpiece in searching for a video about clay sculpting.

"What are you watching?" He said as he searched through his box of his tech devices.

"Clay sculpting videos for beginners," I replied. He laughed again, I still didn't understand why.

Mid way through his stream, a guy called Dream joined his call. He nearly killed Tommy many times making him scream many times out of fear.

"Dream, dream wait," He said with a hint of fear in his laugh. Dream stopped attacking him to listen to what he had to say.

"We are learning how to sculpt you in class," He said with a very obnoxious laugh at the end of his sentence.

"You're learning how to sculpt dream?" Toby replied. Tommy's character looked at Toby's character as he said that.

"No Tubbo, no, no," Tommy said before turning his character to look towards Dream.

"Wow so funny Tommy," Dream responded not sounding impressed at all.

"What I don't get it," Toby asked again in the call.

"We're learning to sculpt clay Tubbo," Tommy replied and laughed at his own joke.
