It was finally the day of Izzy's wedding. I had to get up early to help Izzy get ready since her actual Maid of Honour was obviously not going to help at all.

"I'll go out to check if everyone is seated," I said to Izzy as I left her with the other bridesmaids behind the doors of the chapel.

I walked into the chapel to see it fully packed. There were many familiar faces I could spot from a distance.

"Need help?" Oliver asked as he approached me. He was Jacob's best man, so he was going around trying to help wherever he could.

"Yeah, I need to check that everyone is seated," I said.

"I'll go this half and you do the other," Oliver said as he pointed to the left. We parted ways to start working.

"Hi, sir are you by yourself?" I said as I looked at the seat, the guy was hogging two seats at once putting a camera bag on the second seat.

"Y/N?" An oddly familiar voice answered. The voice the one person that I had spent these four years avoiding.

No matter where I go, I'm always gonna want you back
No matter how long you're gone, I'm always gonna want you back
I know you know I will never get over you

I slowly looked up and looked into a pair of extremely blue eyes. I looked away from the blond as he did the same.

"Hi, I'm gonna need you to move your bag to make space for more people," I quickly said before turning on my heel to leave.

I quickly went to the back through the side door of the chapel, before squatting down and leaning against the door. My heart was racing, it had been a long time since I felt like this. It was exhilarating.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Izzy asked as she came towards me with the group of bridesmaids surrounding her.

"I'm alright, I just saw Tommy," I said as I slowly got up on my feet. Izzy grabbed onto my arm and smiled mischievously. She definitely had something to do with this.

The ceremony finally started, I watched from the side as Izzy's father handed her over to Jacob. She had teared up as she hugged her father before walking toward the altar with Jacob.

It was a touching moment to see. It made me wonder who would hand me off when I was going to get married on behalf of my father.

They were officially married, they looked like the two happiest people in the world as they walked out of the chapel. With me and Oliver chasing after them right after.

"Okay you have thirty minutes to change and get to the next venue so let's go, chop chop," I said as I unzipped Izzy from her dress.

I quickly got her next dress which she would have to wear for the rest of the day until nighttime.

"So, what happened between you and Tom?" She asked as she changed.

"Nothing, I just asked him to move his bag away from a seat," I replied as I folded her wedding dress while waiting for her to change.

"Are you going to talk to him later during the dinner?" Izzy asked.

"Probably not, who in their right mind would want to talk to an ex that ghosted them?" I replied. Tommy probably still hadn't forgiven me after the breakup and I totally understood if he felt like that.

"Plus, isn't he dating Jackie?" I continued.

"Correction, he went on one date with her and that was it," Izzy said as she pulled back the curtain since she was done changing.

I shrugged my shoulders, I really wanted to talk to him but I knew that he probably didn't feel the same way.

We headed off to the next venue in a car that Oliver was driving, I rode shotgun as Jacob and Izzy sat at the back. It was fun to finally have the gang back together. We joked around tons as we were on the way to the venue.

Finally we reached and Oliver and I quickly went to the hall to check that everyone was at their respective tables. We then did a microphone test on stage as we waited for Izzy and Jacob to come to the banquet hall.

As expected, Izzy and Jacob made grand entrance into the banquet hall hand in hand. It was truly a beautiful sight to see.

The meals were served as we waited for the night to arrive. Oliver and I followed Izzy and Jacob as they went around to each table to talk to their friends and take pictures with them.

"They look so happy, take a picture now," I whispered to Oliver as he was holding the camera. He took the shot of the couple smiling and holding each other.

I turned to my right and caught a certain blond staring straight at me. I slowly turned away my gaze and walked next to Izzy awkwardly to avoid his staring.

Soon enough though, we reached his table. The "Maid of Honour" was seated right next to him instead of sitting in the table closer to the front of the hall with their family.

Izzy and Jacob talked to their other friends seated at the table as I watched.

"Hey," A voice said beside me. Tommy was holding two wine glasses and held one out for me to take. We clung our glasses against each other and started to drink from them.

"So, Jackie huh," I said as I looked over his shoulder to see her staring at us.

"I'm not with her," He quickly replied.

"Oh, then are you going out with anyone now?" I asked as I swirled the wine in my glass.

"No, I'm still waiting for the right person," He said with an awkward laugh as he looked down at his shoes.

"What if I told you, you've already met her," I muttered under my breath as I finished up the rest of the wine in my glass before setting it down on a table near us.

"What did you say?" Tommy asked.

"Nothing, nothing important," I answered and smiled at him. We stood in silence for awhile until I noticed Izzy and Jacob moving off to the next table and followed them.

"He doesn't resent me," I thought to myself as I walked away from him smiling.
