Lana POV

When me and Iris get into Ms.Frankie's office- she hands us our results.

I stare at my paper for a while.

Why is it blank?

Iris gets her results back and her Daddy is Jax.

But who will my Daddy be?

When Iris leaves the office with Jax I start crying.

"Ms.Frankie.", I whine. "Why is my paper blank?"

"Well, there are two possibilities.", she tells me. "Either you are not compatible with any of the daddy doms in our system, or the dom you are compatible with is taken already."

I'm unlovable?

Nobody wants to be with me?

I run out of the office in tears, not watching where I'm going.

I end up bumping into someone and falling on my bum.

"Are you alright.", someone says as I stare at their feet.

They neal down and look me in the eyes.

It's the same guy from earlier when me and René were fighting.

What did Iris say his name was again?

Adam? Aaron? Aiden?

Oh, right.

"I'm fine Adrien.", I say through sniffles.

"No, you're not.", he says picking me up.

He sits me down on a bench in the food court.

"Spill.", he says with a smile.

I decide to tell him everything.

"I came here to find a place where I belong. Turns out I may not belong here either.", I say. "I didn't match with any doms and I just don't understand why. I'm so kindhearted and lovable, but nobody wants my love."

I've become a sobbing mess.

"That's not true.", he says raising my chin to look at him. "No one is unlovable. You just have to find someone who appreciates you as much as you appreciate them. You'll be at this college for another four years, one of the many doms that come in may be the one for you."

I smile at the thought of the right one still being out there for me.

"It's bedtime now.", Adrien says taking my hand.

He walks me through the empty hallways and to my dorm room.

I wave goodbye to him and apologize for beating René up.

He says that Ms.Frankie will deal with the situation tomorrow.

Speaking of Ms.Frankie, she texts my phone telling me that I'm getting a substitute dom who doesn't have a sub for now.

Just great, I get leftovers.

Am I leftovers to him too?

I decide not to think about it too much.

I walk into the room to see Iris asleep and Jax next to her listening to her quiet breaths.

I wave awkwardly getting his attention.

I try to ask him to leave so I can change into my pajamas, but it comes out as mumbles.

He scares me.

"Sorry, I'll go.", he says before he gets up. "When she wakes up tomorrow morning, tell her we'll discuss her punishment for the fight you three had today."

"Iris didn't fight.", I manage to get out. "In fact, she tried to break us up."

He just nods his head and shuts the door.

I change into my Ariel pajamas and climb into bed.

I fall asleep with one thought in my head.

'I think I like someone else's dom.'
