Saturday morning, I decided to go to the mall so I could buy the materials for my project.

I don't have any schedule today so I asked permission from the Librarian that I'll take a leave. 

"Miss, How much is this?" 

I showed the penguin Keychain to the saleslady, when she told me the price, I immediately went to the counter to pay for it. 

It's too cute to ignore. 

I also bought a new slipper for Tzuyu and Dahyun, it's my payday today that's why.

It's just a simple gift but I know they'll really appreciate it. 

When my stomach groaned, I started finding a fastfood chain so I could eat.

I ordered chicken and rice. 

I added fries too. 

I roamed around to check if there's still a vacant table where I could sit, but I can't find any.

I was about to cancel my order when somebody raised and waved her hand to get my attention. 

Ah. I know her. I approached her. My orders were delivered immediately. 

"Hey, you still remember me right?" 

She asked while examining my face. 

"You didn't come back to the hospital even if you still have to." 

She started talking. I was just listening and eating at the same time. 

I'm really hungry. 

"You really became quiet eh? Even to me?" 

She asked again. 

"I'm already fine. Went back studying too."

I said. 

"You should go back, At least to visit me?" 

She insisted. 

She's now a doctor at the hospital where I got confined. 

Well, she was a trainee at that time we met there. 

I still have appointments with her when I was discharged but I didn't really take the medications and all seriously. 

I got into an accident before. 

When I finished eating, I stood up and waved her goodbye. She still went after me and insisted to visit her some time.

Ah,she's too persistent.

"Doc, I'm fine really." 

I said and stopped walking. 

"I thought we're friends.." 

She asked sadly. Tf.

"We're friends Doc." 

I said and gave her a hug. 

I was just kidding to be cold around her. 

We're actually close. 

"Doc Jihyo, I was kidding." 

I said and chuckled. She pinched me so I pretended to be hurt. 

She began to panic thinking that she pinched the injured part that I've got in the accident. 

I chuckled again so I received a hit on the shoulder instead. It was too light tho.

Doc Jihyo became someone close to me for the years that I stayed in the hospital. She became someone I lean unto even if I'm just her patient. 

She did me a lot of favor to the point that she almost got fired. 

Well, it was critical for her because she was a trainee at that time. 

I still became sane because I had her at that hospital where I encountered a lot of pain. 

She witnessed all of it.

"How was your leave? You did not get hurt, right?" 

Tzuyu asked and checked on me. As far as I remember, Tzuyu and I became close after my accident. It was too awkward that I even asked her "wtf are you sticking next to me? " She explained that Dahyun asked her to check on me. 

After months, we became close. 

''Yeah' I'm fine Tzuyu. Where's Dahyun? Here"

I said and handed her the slippers I bought. 

"What's this?" 

She asked. Why do people need to ask when they already know the answer? I'm like that at times too. 

"For you and Dahyun. It looks cute. Couple with her"

I said while checking the materials I bought. 

"Ew" 

I heard someone say when the door opened. Must be Dahyun. 

I chuckled from her reaction and Tzuyu just scoffed. 

"You look good together tho." 

I teased but I received glares from them. Ah, can't believe they're friends. 

''By the way Chaeyoung, can we talk?"

Tzuyu sounded serious. Well, most of the time she's like that.

"Sure."

I said and followed her. Dahyun started cooking for our dinner. 

"So, what is it?" 

I asked when we entered her room. I can still see the Polaroid photos of her and Sana. She must have loved her so much. Tzuyu never opened up about Sana to me, I respect that. 

"Chaeyoung, Dahyun told me about that Mina" 

She started. I put on a smile.

"She's still a friend, Tzu. I'm not planning anything.. " 

I said but Tzuyu just looked at me. 

"Do you want to meet her?" 

I asked but Tzuyu immediately shook her head. 

"She's in a relationship. Dahyun told me that too"

Ah, Dahyun is so talkative. 

"I know.''

I said and took a deep breath. It's not like I'll ruin someone else's relationship. I was never a wrecker. 

"Just be careful" 

She said and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. 

I stopped attending the University when the accident happened, I just went back recently. 

I really wanted to be with Mina the first time I went back to the University but Tzuyu said it would be better if I stayed away from her. 

I listened at that time, of course. 

But I think we can still be friends? 

Just until she remembers.. 

Just until she doesn't want me by her side. 

"Tzuyu" I pat her back. 

"Ah, yeah. Let's eat." 

Tzuyu said. We both went outside. 

Felt like I'll sleep soundly today. 

Got really tired.
