Chapter 41

Chaeyoung 

After the talk therapy with Dr. Kim, I went to Doc Jihyo's place. 

"Hi, KD."

I greeted Doc Jihyo's boyfriend when I saw him going out. He smiled at me.

KD visits Doc Jihyo most of the time. 

"Hey Chaeyoung, you're early" 

Doc Jihyo said while going to the living room. She's holding a big chocolate. 

She offered me some, but I refused. 

I'm not a fan of chocolates. It's a big NO for me. 

She might have gotten those from KD. 

"How's the session with Dr. Kim?" 

Doc Jihyo asked while munching the chocolates. 

"It went well." 

I said and sat down beside her. 

When I confronted Doc Jihyo about letting Tzuyu pay the bills, she said sorry. 

She said that Tzuyu came to her. Tzuyu admitted everything to her and asked Doc Jihyo that favor. 

Doc Jihyo hesitated first but agreed when Tzuyu didn't give up asking her permission to pay for my sessions. 

I didn't get mad. I just hugged her. 

Doc Jihyo is quiet today. She's just eating her chocolates but not even talking, unlike before that she'll really talk to me a lot. 

I stayed with her without saying anything too. 

'til she started talking. 

"I saw my boyfriend with another girl yesterday at the mall. I asked him a while ago if where did he went yesterday and he said he was at his Company the whole day. 

He's lying."

I tapped her back. But I'm actually close to chuckling. 

Damn it, KD. 

"Don't you think he's cheating on me? Did he find someone else? Better than me?" 

She added and she's even close to tearing up. 

"And a while ago, he was too serious while talking to me. And he even said we should talk about something and asked if I could meet him tomorrow.

Are we going to break up? 

I'm scared." 

Doc Jihyo started tearing up so I just hugged her. 

I don't know what to say and I believe that actions speak louder than words, so I hugged her tight.

The next day, I started designing Tzuyu's shirts. 

"What do you prefer more, the light or the dark one?" 

I let Tzuyu choose the theme of the design. 

She chose the dark one. 

"After this, can you accompany me somewhere?" 

I asked. She looked at me and nodded. 

I checked the time and it's already 5 PM. Few more touches and I'll be done. 

"Let's go, Tzu."

I said. She's looking at the design I made. It's on her laptop. 

"You're a great Artist, Chaeng" 

Tzuyu whispered, enough for me to hear it. I just chuckled and we left the place together. 

"What are we doing here?" 

Tzuyu asked when we arrived at this place. 

It's a private garden in this restaurant. 

"And by the way, why did you buy those flowers?" 

Tzuyu asked again while looking at the flowers in my hand. 

Before we went here, we went to a flower shop so I could buy some flowers. 

It's six pieces of roses. 

"You'll see." 

I smiled at her and checked my wristwatch. 

10 more minutes. 

"Tzuyu."

I said and faced her. She looked at me and creased her forehead.

"W-what?"

She asked. She's stuttering. I can't help but chuckle. 

I'm still surprised every time Tzuyu is being like this. 

It's understandable because it's cold in here. 

That might be why she's stuttering. 

"The past few weeks had been so tough. I almost lost you in the process. 

Dahyun. 

And even myself.." 

I paused, but I'm still looking at her. I held her hand. 

Ah, it's cold. 

"I want to thank you for admitting every mistake you made. Your imperfections and all the sides you have.

Tzu, thank you for everything. From the day you first talked to me until now that you're letting me hold your hand. 

Really, thank you so much.." 

I said sincerely. Tzuyu is just looking at me. 

"What does that mean Chaeyoung?"

She asked after a few seconds of silence.

Before I could answer, the lights turned on. 

It's a beautiful scenery that cannot be justified by any pictures. 

Tzuyu looked around and I could see how amazed she is. 

Well, I'm also amazed by the scenery. No wonder, this place costs a lot of money. 

It's worth it. 

"I cannot express how much I'm thankful so let me just do this." 

I said and pulled her for a hug.
