Chapter 44

Chaeyoung 

"Are you really sure you're going? I mean---" 

Doc Jihyo tried to stop from going. 

"It's fine Doc Jihyo. I can manage. It's just 1 day." 

I answered. Doc Jihyo sighed and just nodded. 

"How's the session with Dr. Kim the other day?" 

She  asked while preparing the table. KD will be here in a few minutes. 

"It went well, as always. Dr. Kim knows a lot of tricks to make me talk." 

I chuckled. Dr. Kim isn't that serious man, he joked a lot after the session. 

I even asked him one time if he's already married. 

He didn't answer me but he said he'll be a great husband. 

Well, yeah. I totally agree. 

KD arrived exactly after we finished preparing everything for dinner. 

I greeted him and he greeted me back. 

Doc Jihyo kissed him in the cheek.. 

Ah, really. 

We prayed and started eating together.

The day of the Camping came and we're here at the University waiting for the van to fetch us. 

Mina isn't here yet. She's the only one who isn't here from all the members who are in the list. 

"Where's Mina? She'll be late." 

I heard someone asked from behind.

"I already texted her but she's not texting me back." 

Someone answered. It's not my intention to listen to their topic. Their voice is just a bit loud. 

"Uh.. Chaeyoung, do you know where Mina is?" 

The president approached and asked me. I shook my head. 

Where are you Mina? 

I looked at Tzuyu beside me, she's wearing earphones. Dahyun is also going to the camp with us but she's with other members. 

They're also her close friends. 

Tzuyu didn't talk to me after we got drunk at her unit last week. 

She avoided me for the last few days. She really didn't talk to me or utter something. 

She'll just answer if I have a question. 

Maybe she just wanted to have alone time.

2 mins before our scheduled departure, Mina arrived. She avoided my gaze when I looked at her. 

She looked not fine. 

Everyone greeted her and the President asked what's the matter. 

She just said that she forgot something that's why she went home again. 

The van arrived and we all went in. We're in the three-seater seat. I'm in between Mina and Tzuyu. 

Gosh. 

The destination is two hours away. I'm already sweating even though the aircon is on.

Others are talking about stuff and all while here we are, too quiet. 

I glanced at Tzuyu and her eyes are closed. 

I glanced at Mina too, she's looking in the window. 

I tried to close my eyes even though I can't sleep. 

I can also feel that someone is staring at me but I didn't bother to mind it. 

When I opened my eyes, we already reached our destination. 

It's a different place from the previous one. 

I directly went to the wide field to lie down but I saw Mina going to the same direction so I just went back to the main camp. 

I saw them preparing the tents so I helped. 

Tzuyu is helping to prepare the foods we brought. 

After we finished, Mina still didn't go here and it's almost evening so I just went to where she is. 

She's still lying down on the grass. It's not yet dark in here but it feel like it'll rain anytime. 

"Mina." 

I called but she didn't answer. 

Did she fall asleep? 

"Hey.." 

I went near her and tried to touch her arm. 

She's hot. I mean, her temperature. 

Mina opened her eyes and looked at me. 

"You have a fever?" 

I asked while staring at her. She didn't answer but just looked at me. 

"Tell me, what have you done to me Chaeyoung?" 

She asked without breaking the stare she's giving me.

I creased my forehead. 

"Why am I feeling something that I shouldn't feel?" 

She asked again and closed her eyes. 

I don't know how to answer her so I stayed silent for a minute. 

"You should go home. You have a fever. I don't know if we have medicine in here" 

I said but she just ignored what I said and stood up. 

She almost fell down again if I wasn't quick to hold her. 

I guided her to the main camp. She didn't utter anything. 

We were just silent while going there. 

I'm still bothered because I know Mina has a fever. She should have excused herself from going.
