Chapter 12

Chaeyoung 

"So, how was the camping? Did Mina and you become closer? Or something?" 

Dahyun excitedly asked when I entered the unit. 

She's way too excited. 

"Tell me Dahyun, why are you supporting me to be with Mina?"

I asked. That made Dahyun stop from asking. 

Dahyun knows my story. She knows everything except the favor I asked from Somi and Jeongyeon. 

She cleared her throat and looked at me. 

In a split second, none was the goofy Dahyun. 

"Because I want you to be happy now. It's your chance to be seen by Mina." 

She said and held my hand. 

"She's in a relationship and she loves her girlfriend so much." 

I explained but Dahyun just shrugged. 

"As far as I know they're not on good terms." 

She said. 

"They're not on good terms and I don't want to take advantage of that." 

I answered her. She took a deep breath. 

I'm not doing it for my own gain. I'm doing things for Mina because I want her to be happy. 

I want to see her happy. 

I'm not expecting to be in a relationship with her. 

"But you lo----" 

Dahyun was cut off when Tzuyu spoke. She came out from her room. 

"Are you teaching Chaeyoung to follow what you did?" 

I frowned and looked at Tzuyu who's looking at Dahyun. 

What does she mean by that? 

"What?" 

Dahyun asked surprise but Tzuyu just gave her a smirk and shifted her eyes on me. 

"Don't ruin others relationship just so you could be happy." 

Tzuyu said and left. 

Dahyun was just standing there bowing her head so, I approached her and tapped her back. 

"Hey. Did you and Tzuyu fought?" 

I asked. I'm concerned, of course. 

"I think she saw Sana and I yesterday. She thinks that we cheated on her? Sana is Tzuyu's ex-girlfriend right? And Tzuyu still loves her." 

Dahyun explained. 

"But you did not, right?" 

I asked looking at her. She avoided my gaze. 

"So, it was true?" 

I asked again. She's lying if she's avoiding my gaze. 

That's one of her traits. 

"We just became in a relationship recently. I fell for Sana and it wasn't because of me that they broke up." 

She explained. It's not that I'm angry. Maybe just disappointed a bit? 

"As long as you're sure you didn't ruin any relationship. Don't worry." 

I said and directly went to my room so I could rest. 

I really don't have any sleep since the Librarians snore is really loud. 

Good thing, I don't have class today and the Librarian gave me an off.

I woke up at 2 PM. I had 5 hours sleep. 

I took out my phone and dialed Mina's number. She gave me her phone number before we left the camping site. 

Mina answered after 5 rings. I asked her out and she agreed since she doesn't have anything to do. 

I took a bath and changed my clothes. 

Mina asked me for the occasion why I wanted to go out with her. 

I just told her that I got bored.

I arrived at the amusement park at 4PM. 

We decided to go here. Mina's not here yet so I waited. 

She arrived 20 mins later. 

"Hi!" 

She greeted me. She's wearing jeans and a white shirt, enough for her to stand out. 

"Hey." 

I greeted back and we decided to go inside the Amusement Park. We just walk around and talk about random things. 

"Want to ride on that Ferris wheel?" 

I asked when it's almost 6 PM. She agreed and we went to buy tickets. 

"This is my first time riding this Ferris wheel." 

She said when we finally entered. I wanted to say this isn't her first time but I stayed silent.

"Since I lost my memories,I really don't know the things I experienced, the things I did and the things I didn't. Just some things my parents told me." 

She explained and stood up. She went close to the window. The ferris wheel is moving slowly. I want to stand next to her but I can't. 

I remained seated. 

"Chae---What the.. Are you afraid of heights?" 

Mina panicked and rushed to sit by my side. 

Yeah, I'm really afraid of heights but I can manage now, thanks to Mina. 

"No, I'm okay. It's just that it's been so long since I rode a ferris wheel." 

I said and gave her a small smile. She smiled back and moved closer beside me. 

"Thank you." 

I heard her say. I looked at her but she's bowing her head. 

"Today is actually my birthday. I mean, not on my birth certificate. 

My mom said I was really born today but there was an error when they registered my birth. 

I consider this day as my birthday." 

She said playing with her fingers. I know, it's her birthday today. 

"This might be a coincidence but still, I wanted to thank you.." 

Mina said and gave me a hug. I froze. I wanted the time to freeze too. 

The hug lasted for 2mins, but I can still feel her warmth. 

When the ferris wheel is finally going down, I gave her the penguin Keychain I bought. 

"Is this for me? Too many coincidences." 

She said and smiled. 

I can see the happiness in her eyes. 

I always wanted to see those happiness in her eyes.

It's making me happy too.
