Chapter 50

Chaeyoung 

"This story is really realistic, Chaeyoung" 

One of my workmates named Momo said. 

I let her read the story I wrote. 

"And you even used your own name for the main character?" 

Momo said surprise. She's still reading the last part over and over again. 

"It really looks realistic. The name Mina is even familiar to me." 

Momo chuckled. I just sip on my coffee and continue editing the layouts for the books covers. 

"This is fiction right?" 

Momo can't keep quiet. She keeps asking about the story she read. 

I let her read the story I wrote. 

"Are you not planning to publish this book?" 

Momo asked again. I shook my head without looking at her. 

"I have a question." 

I stopped from what I'm doing and looked at Momo. She sounded serious. 

"Why was it titled Title in the Making?" 

I chuckled and snatched the book from her. 

"I can't think of any title and besides, I'm not gonna publish this anyway." 

I answered. Momo just nodded and went back to her work. 

Momo became my friend just a month ago, she's new here. 

I've been working in KD's Publishing company for 2 years, I'm also a freelance Artist. 

I looked at the book I'm holding. I smiled. 

This book is based in reality. These events are all my experiences that took place 3 years ago. 

I wrote it here. 

"Uh. By the way Chaeyoung, why was the ending like that?" 

I heard Momo asked again. I sighed and closed my eyes. 

"Because I don't know what will happen next."

I answered. Momo pretended to be thinking. 

"But it's just fiction. You can just end it based on your Imagination?" 

Momo asked again. I'm surprised. 

Most of the time, Momo will really asked stupid questions. 

I just chuckled and didn't answer her. 

Her phone also rang so she excused herself to answer it. 

I continued editing the layout for the book cover when I heard a familiar voice. 

"Well, there's this person who inspired me to keep on going. To choose myself. 

It was approximately 3 years ago but I can still remember how that last conversation made me realize a lot of things. 

That's the reason why I'm here in front of you, doing what I love the most. "

I smiled while watching her on the TV. Her eyes tell how happy she is. 

The reporter asked her to give a message to that person who inspired her. 

"Hi. I don't know if you're watching this but I wanted to Thank You for being honest with me that day. You're one of the reasons why I chose to believe that I can still reach my dream, and here I am.. Fulfilling those."

I was just smiling. I'm glad, really. 

"Ah! That's why the name on your story looks familiar! It's the same name with that lady on TV. 

Mina, right?"

Momo came out from nowhere. 

"Yeah. Same name." 

I answered while looking at the TV. 

Mina became a famous Ballerina around the world. 

I'm so proud of her.

I always see her on TV achieving all her dreams. 

"Chaeyoung? I saw your girlfriend outside. She's your girlfriend right?" 

Momo paused. 

"Oh. And her name is also in the book! You sure it's not a true story about your life?" 

She seemed to be thinking hard but I just smiled at her and excused myself. 

A warm hug enveloped me. I hugged her back and we stayed like that for almost 5 minutes. 

I missed her. 

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to fetch you." 

I apologized while arranging the baby hairs on her forehead. 

"No, it's fine. Just take me somewhere for dinner." 

She chuckled and looked at me. I smiled at her. 

"Tzuyu, thank you." 

I uttered and held her hand. She also held mine. 

Tzuyu spent the last three years doing community service. She chose her penalty because of what happened. 

Mina's side didn't pursue the case but Tzuyu volunteered to do community service instead. 

Her parents opposed that idea of course, but Tzuyu stood for herself. 

'til her parents agreed. 

"Today is your last community service, right? We shall celebrate then? I'm gonna call Dahyun." 

I said. Tzuyu nodded. 

"Yeah, but let me eat something right now. I'm really starving." 

Tzuyu said. I pulled her to the Company's cafeteria. 

"Is this okay? I'm an outsider." 

Tzuyu said when we're already inside. 

"Yeah. Besides, KD knows you. Let's just eat first." 

I said. Momo saw us and immediately approached us. 

"She's Momo, my work mate." 

I said introducing Momo to Tzuyu. Tzuyu nodded and smiled. 

"Yeah. I met her outside." 

Tzuyu said. 

"You know what? Your name is really in Chaeyoung's book." 

Momo uttered. I closed my eyes when Tzuyu creased her forehead. 

"What book?" 

Tzuyu asked. I shook my head and put food on her plate. 

Ah, Momo.. Really.
