Chapter 13

I woke up with a smile on my face,I didn't know why I was so happy,I tried to get up only to have an arm tighten around my waist.Turning around I came face to chest with Alpha Alec.

My cheeks turn red as I remembered what happened that night,my instinct was telling me to get away from him while my body was relating differently.

Running my hands through his soft hair,he growled quietly before cracking his eyes open,he had a tired smile on his face.'you are up early'A tired voice said through my mind.

My eyes widened,'who  are you?'I asked surprised,'Alec' The voice whispered sending pleasant chills up my spine.

"How can you speak to me through my mind?"I asked aloud."Oh you know something called mind link"he said in amusement.

"But vampires can't use mind link!"I exclaimed,"Well werewolf packs need their Luna to use mindlink ,without the Luna they can't use mind link."He said closing his eyes.

"What if the Luna dies?"I asked curioused."Don't say that!"He snapped at me his eyes narrowed.

My own eyes widened,"I'm sorry"He said trying to reign in his anger,taking a deep breath he said "The mind link will still be there"

I mentally facepalmed myself.The Luna is the alpha's mate so you basically just asked,"what happens when your mate dies?" Of course he will be angry.

"I'm really sorry"I said again,'it's ok' he said through mind link,even through mind link I could tell he was tired so I decided to ask more questions when he wakes up.

I closed my eyes hoping sleep will overcome me.
