S2: Chapter 33

  Natapos na ang ceremony nang hindi ako kumikibo sa aking kinauupuan habang umiiwas ng tingin. Sa paglalakad ay nasalubong ko sina Drean at Azure at nang makita ako ay agad nila akong kinawayan.

"Rei!" usal ni Drean at tumakbo papunta sakin. Agad siyang sinundan ni Azure. Ngumiti sila sa'kin at saka nagpatuloy na kami sa paglalakad.

"Say, Rei. From what guild are you going to join?" asked Drean

"Uhmmm.."

I stroked my chin and look up while they are looking at me, waiting for my response.

"I don't have one in mind" I replied

They look surprised by my answer and I wonder why. I didn't focused myself learning about guilds because I don't need one. I know that I can do it myself.

"You must be insane! Arcane Shadow is the most strongest guild in the academy and everyone wants to get in there. They said that the guild master is one of the Lances." Drean explained

"Hmm... Not bad" I replied

They looked at me in are-you-not-interested-at-all? look. Well I can't blame them since I don't have a plan to associate with anyone.

"Choosing a better guild can help you gain rank easier" Azure said

"Having a better guild with lots of strong members can put you to danger." I answered

They looked at my direction and wondering why I said that
They seemed to be surprised by my answer so I have to give them an explanation.

"Knowing that this academy had a ranking, do you think a strong students here will just sit and do nothing? You will never know, joining a strong guild while you're weak can't get you climb higher. Your strong co-member might betray you or even bully you. The worst is you will never change guild if you already have one. Argh, you must've know these things." I explained

They began to look at each other and then look at me again.

"T-That's.. true.." mumbled by Azure

"Thank you for your warning, Rei. We sure to choose guild wisely" Drean said and wink

  What a cute little boy

I smiled a little bit to them knowing that they trust me.

While walking, a huge crowd of students were blocking our path and it seems like there was a commotion there. We stopped walking and passed through the large crowd to see what's behind of the commotion. I saw Drean gulped and suddenly look pale.

"What's the problem?" I asked

"D-Didn't you feel that... His aura... H-His aura is so scary..." He replied in tremble

I looked at Azure and he was acting like Drean and I was shocked when all of the students here were trembling in fear and seemed to be paralyzed.

Why are they trembling so much to that aura but it doesn't affect me?

Not long ago, a piercing shriek echoed the whole place. I turn my eyes on the front, my eyes where enlarged when I saw the symbol of the assassin family who killed Lina and the knights.

My heart began to race as my aura begin to release.

No, I can't do that here...

I quickly calmed myself and turn my back. Drean and Azure were both gasping really hard as the aura begins to stop.

"Let's get out of here" I said in cold tone

I started to walk away from the crowd while clenching my fists.
