Chapter 28: Adel is dead
Adelaide's POV
Mabilis ang pagtakbo ng karuwahe. Ngunit maya-maya'y nakaramdam ako ng isang matinding sakit sa aking puso at pinipilit kong huminga ng maayos.
"Miss, are you alright?" nagaalalang tanong ni Lina
"Arghhh.." I grunt as I spit blood
Is it the side effect of that tremendous power? I used too many mana by chanting those spells. My body is tingling with pain.
... It's so painful!
"Miss, hang on" umiiyak na turan ni Lina habang mahigpit na hinawakan ang mga kamay ko
Pinilit kong ngumiti dahil kay Lina. Mom may not be here, so I'm thankful that Lina is still here beside me.
Medyo malayo layo narin kami sa mansion. I must say na isa na akong wanted criminal ng Laczero dahil sa ginawa kong massacre but I don't care anymore..

"Miss, someone is tailing us!" sigaw ng knights na nasa labas at naka-kabayo
Kasama ko rin yung mga knights na loyal kay mama noon. Willing silang samahan ako para hanapin ang seven disciples.
But how? How did they follow us?
"They're here---" nanlaki ang mata ko nang biglang nahati sa dalawa ang katawan ng knight na nagsalita
N-No...
Biglang sumikip nanaman ang dibdib ko ay mas tumindi ang sakit.
"Hurry, let's move the carriage faster!" sigaw ni Lina
Nakita ni Lina na nahihirapan ako kaya agad niya akong niyakap.
"Everything's going to be alright. I'm here, I won't leave you" Lina said in tears
She was trembling in fear but she remain strong to protect me.
The carriage move faster and because of this, the place becomes shaky. I can't still release the pain and it's getting worse.
Come on! I have to stop the pain or else I can't protect Lina and the knights! Adel, for fvck sake!
Maya-maya'y nagulat ako nang biglang tumigil yung karuwahe. Bumukas ang pinto at tumambad sa amin ang knight na lumuluha.
"Miss, get our of the carriage and get on the horse, quick!" nagmamadaling saad nito
