This Feeling

Chapter 21

Here she is," Tessa said as I came down the stairs and entered the kitchen.

"I didn't expect you guys to be here so early," I said taking Ryan's cup of coffee and sipping.

"Uhm Skye its 2pm," Riley said putting her phone in front of my face.

"Why didn't you wake me up," I elbowed Ryan.

"I was about to love," He replied.

"You know, thanks to you two I owe Tessa for winning the bet," Zak said.

"Yass!" Tessa said excitedly.

"What bet?" Ryan asked.

"I said that you and Skye would start dating soon and Zak said you are too chicken to ask her out," Tessa explained before reaching over and taking the last muffin from the plate.

Ryan gave Zak a playful glare and asked," You said I'm chicken?" Zak just laughed at him.

"We have to do something fun to celebrate," Tori said excitedly.

"Oh goodness!" I sighed.

"We can have an outing next weekend," She suggested.

"We going to the Netherlands next weekend Tori," Riley replied.

"Netherlands?" Ryan asked.

"Uh--oh," Tori said.

"We are going to my grandparents Thursday to Sunday," I said.

"Oh," is all he said. 

"The following week then," Tori said.

"Yes! Maybe go to a club somewhere away from this place," Tessa said grinning.

"Okay," I said simply.

After chilling with us for the afternoon, they left around 5pm.

"Aren't we going to your parents place," I said Ryan.

"Oh I almost forgot, my mom was gonna kill me," He said.

"Well let me go dress up in something more presentable," I said going upstairs.

I came down wearing a white dress with black heels. 

"You look beautiful," He complimented.

"Thank you. Uh Ryan..." I began.

"Yeah," He said after we both got into the car.

"I sorry I didn't tell you I'm going to the Netherlands on Thursday," I said.

"It's okay, you don't have to run everything past me," He shrugged. We spent the whole car ride in silence and I knew he was mad at me.

We arrived at his parents place in less than 30 minutes and I was nervous to meet them. 

Ryan walked around and opened my door but I refused to come out.

"Come on babe, you will be fine. I'm sure they will love you, please come out," He said.

"I'm nervous," I said.

"Come on, please," He pouted.

"You seriously have to stop using that against me," I said before climbing out.

I was about to ring the bell when Ryan asked, " What are you doing, this is my home remember," 

"I'm nervous," I whispered as he opened the door.

"Ryan is that you baby?" A female voice asked.

"Yes, I’m downstairs mom," Ryan replied.

We heard footsteps and in no time a beautiful, brunette woman with green eyes came down.
