"So you will meet with your choreographer and Xavier tomorrow evening, so cancel any plans you have, okay?" Mrs Clark said.

"What time will this start and end because I believe Saturday forms part of the weekend and as I'm not on school property I may have plans that can't be cancelled," I said. I was getting irritated by how much this thing was going to invade my personal life.

"The meeting has been arranged for 4pm until round about 6pm and during this meeting you will be discussing your schedule, queries, diet plans, fitness plans whatever Katie, the choreographer that is decides," She replied politely.

"Okay, that sounds fine. Can I please get back to class now?" I asked and my negative attitude was clearly visible.

"Yes you can go now," She said.

"Thank you." I said walking out of the office. "And Skylar, don't think I don't see that attitude. You are not going to give us a hard time on this because we believe in you and we would like to see you do well and not be looked down upon because of your actions." She added before I closed the door.

What time is dinner tomorrow? I asked Ryan.

7pm.

I don't think I will be able to make it.

Okay.

Ryan and I weren't really on lovey dovey terms this week after what happened at his house and I find it stupid because it wasn't even a fight but just a bad exchange of words.

I know we both overreacted and the only time I could apologise would be at the dinner tomorrow and now I won't make it on time if rehearsals end at 6. Or maybe I can? I will have to do all the necessary Math to calculate if I can make it in time if I still have to drive home, change and make it over to the Carters.

"Hi my name is Katie Ware and you must be Skylar," The lady, Katie greeted me.

"Please just call me Skye," I smiled.

"Okay Skye, do you know where Xavier is? He should be here by now or are we early?" She asked looked at the time on her phone. "Ah yes we are early,"

There was silence before I started the conversation, "How long have you been dancing?"

"I'm 26 now so uh about 17 years now," She grinned.

"Wow, that's crazy. People never dance for that long full time," I said.

"Well I am a psychologist that dances so I don't do it as a permanent job," She smiled and I nodded.

"Afternoon ladies," I heard that awfully familiar voice greet. My heart started accelerating as I turned to look at the boy I had loved for so many years. He wore a simple white top over black sweatpants. The shirt showed off those beautiful abs I always loved touching and aspired to have, even though they were quite manly for me to get.

"You must be Xavier, I'm Katie and I think you know your dance partner, Skye," Katie extended her hand for him to shake which he gladly did with a warm smile. Xavier was always a polite guy and that's probably why I loved him more than all the boys in the football team.
