as marcella entered the kitchen of the greene's house, glenn and maggie looked to her for the answer to carl's current state.

"he's alive." she told them both, more stray tears beginning to fall.

glenn immediately embraced the young woman, letting her softly cry onto his shoulder. the two interacted so naturally with eachother, this was new for glenn as he was usually awkward around girls, especially girls that he thinks to be beautiful.

"i'll get you some water." maggie told marcella before leaving for the sink.

a few minutes later, marcella, maggie and glenn sat together, talking about the procedure.

"i just was so scared that we were going to lose another child." marcella blurted out, causing glenn to put an arm around her shoulder. marcella rested her head on his neck.

"thankyou for picking lori up, maggie. we all appreciate what you and your family have done for us." marcella smiled toward the other woman in the room.

"of course marc." maggie smiled.

"marc?" marcella laughed slightly at the strange nickname.

"glenn said i wasn't allowed to call you el." maggie smirked towards glenn, knowing she was exposing him. the two had talked about marcella briefly.

"really glenn?" marcella laughed.

"what? it's my name for you, i said she had to find her own." glenn defended.

"your such an idiot, glenn." marcella hit him playfully as the three of them laughed.

when maggie heard about otis' death whilst getting medical supplies for carl, she was devastated. she offered shane some of otis' clothes.

"i'm so sorry, maggie." marcella opened her arms for maggie as she walked back into the kitchen.

the two brunettes hugged as maggie cried into marcella's shoulder, just as marcella had done with glenn a few minutes prior. although maggie cried a lot harsher than marcella, having lost someone instead of having saved someone like marcella.
