The market was über busy, people were pushing each other out the way. Jo had put her arm through mine, glaring at people when they got too close. Funny thing was it was actually working.

It was a beautiful day, we were all out the whole family came except Dragon and Reagan. Reagan had headed back to Australia, I was sure I would see him again soon. The rest of the boys were shopping for school and college supplies, so it just left us girls with Jo's Mum.

I never really noticed her Mum before now, she was quite wide hipped, very curvaceous. It was like it came natural to her though, like her body was created and frozen at the right amount of curviness. A bit like my Mum. She was extremely beautiful, with long, black, curly locks, but it was the wavy kinda curls, like she had sat for hours with cans of coke as rollers .

I had been at Jo's house since Friday. After school they picked me up and told my Mum I wouldn't be home until Monday after school, and they’d drop me off. The whole family fussed over me, making me feel at home. It was nice, all of Friday evening we watched films. I filled Jo in on everything Mum said, that she’d told me to ignore everything and go with the flow. Jo totally agreed.

Her phone rang from what she was mouthing, it was Reaba. When she got off the phone, she told me Reaba was still winging over Leighton.

Jo was copying her whining tone. She always made me laugh.

"Gracie what do you think of this material," It was Jo's Mum.

I must have been daydreaming, when I looked over my jaw dropped. It was out of this world, it was like a satin with an almost opal effect. You could see the different colors in the sunlight, it was amazing. I nodded.

"It's beautiful Mrs Frost, what's it for?" She smiled, "Well, we have a ball to go to this month. I was thinking of making myself a dress this time. All the money I waste on buying when I can make them is ludicrous."

Jo was rolling her eyes in response, like she has heard this so many times, but nothing’s any different. "Maybe when we get back home, we can go through the designs I've come up with. Oh, and please call me Evie.

"Yes, I'd love to, Evie." She smiled again, that smile was so warm and familiar. Where had I seen it before?

When we were done, Evie told us  she had some calls to make and to meet her in the Indulging Desserts Parlor, so we headed off clothes shopping. I'd never gone with anyone but my Mum before and I was quite nervous.

We went in a few shops and picked up various tops and legging. I went to the changing rooms.

Jo popped her head round the corner, "Try these skirts on. You will look über cute." I wasn't so sure. I had never worn skirts before I felt a little uncomfortable. But I thought, Hey why not.

When I looked she had even chosen my right size. How did she know? I slid the skirt over my hips, all the while keeping my eyes shut. I opened one eye and was shocked to say the least. I had great legs.

I'd always covered up so I never noticed, but wow. It kind of gave me a better frame too. It was amazing how different I actually felt.

I walked out the changing room to wolf whistles, Jo looked at me and said, "See I told you, didn't I? Damn, sister, look at those legs."

I nodded my head in agreement. "I just never thought I had a good enough body to pull it off. From now on you're my personal shopper." She laughed so loud, the whole shop heard her.

I went back in and tried the other skirts on. They were perfect too. I grabbed them all and headed to the till to pay.

When we got in the ice cream parlor they were all back, the boys had gotten all they needed. They were discussing who was doing what tonight.
