"Sleepy head! Ooh sleepy head! Time to get up." Bang! Bang! Bang! I opened one eye to see Jo standing on the bed. Frying pan in one hand, a wooden spoon in the other,

"Jo!" She jumped up and down like a nut job. I pushed her off the bed and pounced on her, holding her down.

"Hush now, nut job! Five more minutes." She started tickling me. "No way! I am ticklish!" I was in stitches wriggling under her fingers.

I was screaming at the top of my voice, all of a sudden we heard people belting up the stairs, storming into the room. We just looked at them and, together, we both laughed.

"We haven't killed each other yet!" Jo said, and we both started throwing pillows at them.

Once we were dressed we headed down to the kitchen. Breakfast was a busy time in Jo's house on school days, but it was lush none the less. I had some cereal; juice and a banana. It seems Mum and Dad had already left for work.

They we're coming for dinner later, so I was to come straight here with the others. We said our goodbyes and headed of to school. On the drive to school I was getting excited. I was going to see him, that gorgeous man who was all mine. All those girls who dribble over him can kiss my ass! He will never be with them. It was weird, but it sort of gave me a confidence boost. I smirked out the window.

Me and Jo walked over to our lockers and I put away my bag, taking out my text books. Just as I was closing it I sensed him before he was there.

The warmth of his breath was against my neck, and his lips against my ear. "Morning! I've missed you, you smell gorgeous, where's my kiss."

I spun round to see those beautiful eyes gazing at me. I kissed him softly and he wrapped his arms around me. The hall was getting crowded.

Leighton didn't care. He was oblivious to it all. There were just him and I, and no one else existed.

Wrapping his arms around me tight Leighton spoke. "So babe what's your first lesson?" I looked at my timetable. "Nothing much just science." Jo laughed.

"Yeah make sure we don't set a light to anything this time." I laughed too.

"Shush Jo not that again. If any of you asks what happened, I will kill you without fangs."

The guys were in stitches. Jo ran her finger across her lip. "I promise babe." Leighton just smiled pulling me along as we all walked to class.

Across the other side of the hall walking towards us were Reaba with her friend, talking and looking at me and Leighton. She stopped in front of me and spat in my face.

"So you gave up on me, for this. Your standards are dropping drastically, you'll be the laughing stock of the school" she laughed.

Within seconds Jo was dragging Reaba by the throat, banging her against the locker, lifting her clean off the ground, "You will never talk about my best friend like that again." Reaba was in shock nodding her head.

"Do you understand? The reason my cousin dumped your sad scrawny ass is because your nothing but a loser," Reaba was gasping for breath, scratching at Jo's arms.

Jo took no notice "Now look into my eyes, and listen carefully, "You like Gracie, you have always liked her, you will do anything for Gracie. As soon as you see her, you will carry her books to class." Jo snapped her fingers.

Reaba looked over at me, "Oh hey, Gracie. Here let me carry your books. You look lovely today. I like what you have done with your hair."

I looked at Jo, she winked at me and everyone was in stitches again. Leighton spun me around.
