Snuggled up to my lifeline didn't last as long as I had expected when the door flew open revealing a very dishevelled man standing there, the first thing I notice was the power that was rolling of him it was immense, that wasn't the only feeling furthermore  I felt like I should be kissing his feet or something, he walked into the room like he owned it pulling Leighton up into a man hug, I stood up next to Leighton wondering what the hell was going on, he just smiled.
Prince Leighton, it's so good to see you again" Leighton chuckled, "I saw you last week Andrea, but yes it's always great seeing you too," he replied.
Andrea glanced down at me, to say I was surprised would be a lie, he was devilishly handsome his jawline was chiselled to perfection, he was just as handsome as all the family, but according to Leighton he wasn't related "You must be the troublemaker I'm assigned to" I blushed, Leighton chuckled pulling me closer to his side as a way of calming my now erratic nerves, Andrea had a very dominating aura it was quite unsettling, I shakily put out my hand to shake his but he pulled me into a bone crushing hug, it was a good job I wasn't human anymore he would have crushed me, "Andrea this is my beautiful fiance Gracie, she's not a troublemaker, she just happens to be more powerful than all of us that is a little unsettling, plus her blood heals the supernatural so that's a bit problematic too."
Andrea nodded his head in reply to Leighton fears, but looking closely Andrea had paled slightly or was it the light.
"It's ok, you don't have to tell me she just made my beast whimper, he has never backed down from anyone, the question is what type of vampire you are. I need to study you closer, Gracie," he looked closely into my eyes he whimpered automatically but that wasn't what concerned me, his aura had completely changed he was now fearful what the hell am I, Leighton could feel the change in the atmosphere also my anguish through the bond his arms tightened protectively.
Andreas watched us closely, his eyes never wavering towards me just Leighton, "Your afraid of me?" he simply nodded honestly.
"Never in all my life including the years I have worked alongside Leighton and his family, have I ever come across a beauty so pure yet so tainted at the same time, it wasn't my human side you frightened it was Raul my wolf, hell to be quite frank my human side is extremely attracted to you which is another concern because I'm gay," Leighton chuckled.
Andrea slapped Leighton, "It ain't funny dufus, Raul states she's dangerous, we all know a dangerous untrained vampire no matter what their status is can unbalance everything, but luckily I'm up for a challenge, my vampire already sees you as a powerful adversary he certainly doesn't give up," pulling at my hand he dragged me out the room, "We need some alone time Lei, we will be at the bar,"he shouted as we made our way down the hallway I looked over my shoulder to see Leighton giving me a reassuring nod.
Once we ordered drinks we sat at the far end in a quiet corner, Andrea looked at me sympathetically, " Gracie who's your second mate?" I was puzzled by how he would know, I wasn't even sure myself it could be true, it was unheard of.
"I don't know what you mean Leighton is my mate," he smiled.
"I can feel your pain, maybe not your's but it's definitely your vampires pain, you must have met Leighton when you were human," I shook my head disagreeing with his notion.
"They state that my vampire has been dormant since I was a baby, hell I've died three times Andreas but the third time was totally different I actually died I had a conversation with my grandad who passed away when he was young I wanted to stay with him but he told me it wasn't my time that I was meant for greater things. he pushed me back down I felt my body fall when I woke up everything was different I was different I could feel the transformation, the power, they said I was unrecognisable the injuries were horrific so much so it would take them a few days to heal from it I was healed instantly I almost felt cheated that I didn't heal myself, every memory I had taken away all returned too but the thing that shocked me the most was my body began to change to what it is now the weird part about that was I use to be fat!" Andreas looked at me his eyes held so many different looks I was too scared to ask for his input.
"No wonder my wolf is afraid of you Gracie, your vampire has been altered by a higher deity, your a transcendent vampire, I should have realised by the things they were telling me about you, your inhumane beauty, your pure heart, the ability to control whether using them as a weapon the list goes on Gracie, but I wanted to see it for myself, we need to get to work but unfortunately you will have to tell Leighton about your second mate, you need them too, or the things I've been told will keep happening, your mates balance you for the greater good, without them both you will be unbalanced and out of control."
Traitor tears rolled down my cheek Andrea got up from his seat pulling me into a hug all the time he was hugging me he was growling it was like he was in turmoil with himself I looked up at him questioningly.
Andrea chuckled, " Take no notice....grrr....my wolf is a little upset that I'm so close...grrrrr...right now....grrrrrrrrrr..I'm sorry."
I pulled away not wanting him to be upset, "Don't be I feel the same way about myself if I'm honest, I never asked for any of this, I don't want to hurt anyone, even you, but I know I'm a danger I can feel it, all I want to do is protect the ones I love."
I could tell he believed me because that bright red aura grew lighter before my eyes it made me feel good that I had managed to take away some of his discomfort towards me.
"How do I tell Leighton I have another mate?" I queried.
"Leighton is old Gracie he will probably already be able to tell, but it's important you tell him asap before your vampire gets restless waiting for him she could rebel taking you over to get to him she might not give you back control," I shivered at the thought of that theory.
"I will tell him tonight," Andrea smiled warmingly at me.
After a few comfortable silent moments, Andrea wished me a good night before leaving me at the bar to contemplate my next move.
