-Y/N's POV-
"Don't go..." I whined, my arms wrapped, tightly around Guren's waist,

"Literally two days ago you were avoiding him." Naomi shot me a confused look,

"That's in the past, I forgive him now."

"We all knew this would happen..." Takana mumbled,

"And it happened like clockwork." Ira shook her head,

"Y/N, I'll be back in 3 months latest. Can you let go of me please?" He began to move, leaving the kitchen but I still wouldn't release him,

"I don't want to, why must you go anyway...?"

"Because there will be a bigger search party for me than there was for you."

I released him as he stopped at the front door before sighing, "Come back safe, okay?"

"You know I will, sweetheart."

"No really, Guren. I don't know much about what's going on but I've seen how much work you've had to do, something big must be going on." You hadn't realised it, but the thought of losing Guren to whatever's going on terrified you, especially before he could meet his unborn child,

"Y/N, don't cry." He comforted, softly wiping the tears from my face, "I've still got some time left before I have to go, come I'll tell you what's been happening."

He led me to his office before sitting down and sitting me on his lap, "So where do you want me to start?"

I leaned into him, resting my head on his shoulder,  "I don't know, I guess just start with what's going on in the army."

His hand stroked my head soothingly, "Sure, how about I start with your almost family in law."

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes,

He chuckled, "There's not much to say about them, except Kureto plans on killing his father."

My eyes widened, "Not much?!" I mimicked him, sarcastically, "That's huge! Is this common knowledge or-?" I exclaimed,

"I don't think so, but he told me he had 20% of soldiers on his side- whether he was as direct with his intentions to those soldiers as he was with me is beyond me."

"Does Shinya know?"

"Yup, Kureto asked me to convince him."

"So you're going to help him?"

"Not like I have a choice, on the bright side I dislike Tenri more than I do Kureto."

"I agree with that." I sighed, "Is that part of the mission?"

"In a way, but I won't be there. Instead I'm meeting with the seventh and thirteenth progenitors about the seraph of the end."

"Wait...What! You mean the vampires? Who, I don't know- tortured and almost killed you?!" My jaw dropped,

"They weren't going to kill me. Quite frankly they need me alive. It's a long story that involves Mahiru."

Mahiru again, as much as I want to believe that the Mahiru I knew wasn't like what I'm being lead to believe, it really does seem that way, she seemed to be behind a lot of things almost like some sort of mastermind.

I nodded, "Well, is that it?"

"For now, I'll tell you everything from the past when I come back. It's a lot and stress isn't good for you right now."

I nodded not being able to refute that, "I'm going to miss you." I sniffled,

"Are you really about to cry again?"
