Epiphany ~ Chapter 24.

-Guren's POV-
Kai flopped onto the sofa, glaring at me, "What?" He huffed,

I rolled my eyes, "Why are you so mad? Were you having your date in your room?"

"15 seconds have passed." He ignored my question,

"Fine. I think it's time we told the girls about the cursed gear and demons."

"Why now?" He curiously raised an eyebrow,

"Y/N almost got possessed today. They should know when it's happening in case we get possessed; maybe they could figure out something that could potentially save them." I sighed,

"Ok..." he drawled in confusion,

"Great I'll leave it to you!" I patted his shoulder, getting up and heading for the door,

"Wait what?! Why can't you do it?" Kai stood up,

"I'm on duty tomorrow, gotta get ready." I explained,

"Tell them today then!" He tried to argue but I had already shut the door behind me, leaving no room for argument,

"Doesn't have to be today!" I yelled, and to my amusement, I heard him groan loudly in frustration.

-Y/N's POV-
I lay on my stomach, pouting. I wanted to confront D/N but I felt like now wasn't the best to do so considering how vulnerable I was to getting over-emotional and possessed.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard my door knock,

"Come in."

Naomi walked in, "Hey." She greeted,

"Hi." I sighed back, "What's up?"

"Are you still mad?" She asked giving me a cautious look,

"What's all this? Are you checking on me?" I grinned,

"Hmph." A loud snort accompanied the eye roll she shot at me,

"Don't worry, I don't want to kill you anymore." I rolled my own, reassuring her that she didn't have to stand by the door, eyeing me,

"Well, that's nice I guess." She shrugged, "I also want to ask you something though." She sat next to me on my bed,

"Shoot." I gestured.

"Were you possessed yesterday?"

I chuckled, "No but according to Guren I almost was,"

"So you weren't possessed?" She asked,

"No; if I was you would've definitely known." I explained, "When someone is possessed you'll usually see strange patterns on their skin, they'll act completely out of character, they're physical abilities will be completely inhumane and sometimes you'll see horns coming out of their head."

"Oh, I see." She nodded,

"That's why Guren asked you to leave. If it got any worse it would've been bad."

"Well if that's the case, you should forgive Lilith. It's not good to hold unforgiveness against someone."

"What's this? Are you suddenly religious or have you wronged a lot of people?"
