It had only been a day and Guren's planning for the mission was coming to an end, so when he called you to let you know that he'd be coming back tonight he chuckled when he heard your excited voice over the phone as he was also able to relate.

This time wasn't easy for him especially, Guren was convinced that with the way things were going several wars would ensue.
Kureto's plan was vague and risky enough to cause stress; it could easily go sour for Guren, especially if it failed, so his only choice was to go off of a barely complete plan.

Then he had Mahiru; he wasn't being controlled by her, he couldn't haven been controlled by her, lucky for him the seraph of the end was complete but he couldn't have been more wrong about the demands stopping there.

"You need to meet Ferid Bathory, tell him about the Seraph of The End."

He looked at Mahiru with a weird stare, "Why the hell would I do that?"

"Ferid has a big part to play in this project, besides you said you wanted to resurrect humanity after what you did, he will be of great help to you."

"I don't need his help." Guren declined, that progenitor was not to be trusted, he'd rather not collaborate with him if possible,

"I think you do. You failed to finish the seraph of the end before Kureto, even when you revived your friend Ferid helped you too, no?" She giggled,

He rolled his eyes, trying to keep his temper at bay, "Why are you doing this? You have some ulterior motive don't you?" Even as a demon Mahiru was still as calculated as ever,

"I'm just doing what's best for you, Guren. You may not love me anymore but I still love you, and I'll make sure your wishes come true." She taunted, and just as he was about to call bullshit he was suddenly made aware of his surroundings,

"Uh, Guren?" He opened his eyes to find the others looking at him concerned, he couldn't help but be somewhat grateful to Mahiru; it's be hard to explain why he was communicating with his demon and he was sure Mahiru didn't want his friends to know that he was, that would also make things a little more complicated for her.

"Yeah? What's wrong?"

"Why are you so deep in thought? Relax a little." Goshi encouraged with his arms behind his head,

"Either that or by the way you're eyebrows are scrunched you're constipated, do you need me to get you some laxatives?" Shinya raised an eyebrow,

The others were visibly surprised at Shinya openly teasing him in such a way, considering the last incident, but still didn't say anything which was somewhat amusing to Guren and most likely Shinya too,

"Want me to leave you constipated? Keep going." He shot back at him,

Mito's eyes widened, "Guys-"

"Don't worry, Mito. Guren won't actually beat me up, he's much nicer than he acts." Shinya reassured,

"Wanna bet, punk?" He smirked at him, and he returned it, that was when she and everyone else finally caught on,

"I really thought you guys were going to fight again, I was going to get Goshi to split you up." She sighed in relief,
