-Narrator-
It had been a while since Y/N had worn her uniform and yet when she put it on it still felt the very same as before; that was until she met everyone else once she had prepared herself.

The curious stares from the girls had threw her off slightly even if she didn't want to show it, and the smirk from Guren once he layed eyes on her made her shy; even if he wasn't fond with her decision he enjoyed the view of his girlfriend in uniform once again.

"Woah..." Ira ogled,

"Honestly, this didn't feel weird until you guys started staring at me, seriously?" She cringed,

"It's because you look good, we always see you in casual clothes so this is new." Takana shrugged, complimenting Y/N,

"She's right," Kai nodded in agreement, "Although, you're always in casual clothes; can you wear uniform too? I'm trying to see something." he turned to Takana,

Takana sighed, "We don't have uniform, pervert."

"A maid outfit?" He suggested,

"I'll kill you." She finally glared at him, making the rest of the room sigh and roll their eyes,

"Give us a break," Lilith groaned,

"Just because one couple is going, doesn't mean you two need to become more unbearable to make up for their absence." Naomi added,

"I didn't even do anything it's him!" Takana argued in her defence,

Guren ignored the squabbling that suddenly erupted and turned to Y/N, "Now that you're here let's go." He said quietly, throwing Lilith and Ira who weren't participating in the argument a quick nod, before grabbing her hand and steering her towards the door,

"Isn't Kai coming-?" Y/N turned to look back at Kai only to be met with his back,

"That loser can make his own way." Guren said disguising his desire for some alone time with contempt towards Kai's generally annoying presence.

Y/N simply shrugged, not entirely opposed to the idea, before turning to throw the others a quick wave as she rushed out of the door with Guren.

Ira couldn't help the loud snort that escaped her, the attention now turning to her,

"You think this is funny?" Takana turned to face her friend in disbelief,

Ira, oblivious to the fact that her snort came directly after a comment made by Kai, tilted her head slightly, "You two are always bickering, do you think I'm still amused by it?"

Takana rolled her eyes before turning back to her smug boyfriend and the instigator who only posed as his sidekick in such a situation,

"Let's go Lilith, somewhere without 3 adults acting jobless would be great." Ira sighed dramatically, after the silence,

"Ira, don't you know you're also an adult?"

"An adult without a job I need to tend to now? Yes I'm aware." She cast the group a pitiful look as she dropped her hint, before tutting and leaving the room with Lilith in tow.

"She leaves her childish antiques behind for one day and this is how she acts." He shook his head amused, "She's right though, it's time for me to go." He turned around, but to his surprise Guren was gone,

"Eh-?"

The others followed his gaze, the lack of vocal input from Guren and Y/N becoming very clear, Naomi chuckled at the realisation.

"No wonder Ira was laughing..." Naomi guffawed, making Takana crack up,

"You think this is funny?" He took out his phone and called Guren, which he picked up surprisingly quickly,

"Are you leaving now?" He heard his slightly smug tone,

"Very funny. You didn't want to tell me you were leaving?"

"Well no, and you also seemed occupied."

"Wait 'till I find you."

"Worry about how you'll reach me first, don't be late!"

Kai was about to bite back with a smart remark of his own but Guren had already hung up when he opened his mouth, making the two spectators laugh harder,

"I never knew karma was that quick." Takana cheesed, wiping some stray tears,

Kai waved them off, at the end of the day he knew all hope wasn't lost.

Once Y/N returned there was one person in particular she wanted to meet; the person who got her out of the mess she called her previous life in the first place.

But once she was stood outside her door, she began to seriously contemplate whether this was worth it.

Regardless, she forced herself to knock, her jaw clenched as she awaited the response she was about to receive.

"Ah, Miss Y/N, you're back?" She looked up, once she heard the voice of a very concerned maid she didn't recognise, a lot must've changed since she left,

"Uhh- yeah!" She nervously scratched the back of her head, "Is my mother home?"

"Your mother has stepped out for a bit, should I call your father instead?"

"Oh no, in fact please don't tell him I was ever here. Instead-" she handed the maid a pre-written note in case of this situation, "Can you hand her this?"

"Of course, Miss. But what if your father asks? He most likely heard you knock."

"Tell him Kureto passed by to check if I have come back yet."

The maid reluctantly nodded, before bidding her goodbyes and shutting the door.

As Y/N walked away she stopped in her tracks before facepalming and groaning in frustration.

Clearly she'd gotten too comfortable she thought to herself, realising how careless the lie she had just given the maid was.

She could now only hope her father was unaware of where she had been this entire time.
