Epiphany ~ Chapter 12.

-Y/N's POV-
A loud sneer echoed out, causing my eyes to snap open, I found myself in the very same place as when I got possessed.

"My- Y/N L/N- you're much slower than I thought you'd be. What a shame." I heard,

I was very confused, "D/N? Is that you? I thought we agreed not to do this-" I huffed, feeling betrayed,

"D/N is not here, I wanted to talk to you."

"Who are you?"

"You know who I am. After all it was you who ruined everything when things were going so well."

"Wait what?"

"It's unfortunate for you we're meeting once again." The owner of the voice finally made themselves known, as they grabbed my chin from behind and tilted it to the side exposing my neck, my eyes widened as I caught glimpse of blonde locks and the gold eyes which possessed me that day, "It seems like you remember now." I could feel them smirk,

While I was supposed to be worried about the current threat of being possessed again, I couldn't help but feel that this demon was much more familiar than it was when I first encountered it.

I squinted as I tried to piece together everything I knew so far, and then I got an idea, I tried to catch another glance of the demon,

"Have you got it now? Well then, until we meet again, Y/N L/N."

I shot up, although Guren's arm wrapped around my torso pulled me back down on the bed. My heart was pounding so hard I could feel it in my throat, I hadn't realised Guren had woken up and had pulled me closer to him, "Bad dream?" He asked his voice still groggy,

I shook my head no, still dazed by what I just saw and heard,

"You're spacing out, Y/N. What's wrong? Was it your demon?"

"It was a demon..." I responded,

"A demon?" He echoed, "Not yours?"

"Guren, do you remember the demon that possessed me that day?"

"The nymphomaniac? How could I forget?" He seemed to shiver at the memory,

"I think she's somewhat connected with Sabrina."

"The woman from the bar?" Guren tried to confirm and I nodded,

"They're similar in appearance and the demon was blaming me for ruining everything."

"Did it say anything else?"

"That we'll meet again." We both stared at each other in silence for a while, until Guren nodded,

"If she's threatening you, we'll have to at least locate Sabrina then."

"I don't want to see her again." I mumbled, burrowing my head closer to the crook of his neck,

"You won't have to." He said his lips against my forehead,

I smiled knowing he'd do anything to protect me, and I felt bad for starting the day off with something sinister so I tried to brighten the mood up,

"Thank you." I planted a firm kiss on his neck, my arm trailing down his bare arm, "Should we get breakfast?"

He looked at me, not amused at my sudden tease as I smiled back up at him,

"I've got all the breakfast I need right here though." He rolled us over so he was on top of me,

"No, not again." I quietly squealed, placing my hands on his chest to keep him at a distance,
