A/N - This chapter is based on the song 'One (Your Name)' by the Swedish House Mafia and Pharrell Williams. I hope you all enjoy it.

Fighting Loki had been easier than you had expected. He was arrogant, and had made the assumption that you would never be powerful enough to get anywhere close to him. And yet, you had managed to force him to the ground within seconds, pining him with power-neutralising handcuffs.

You released a snort of laughter as you paced away from him, leaving him sitting on the ground. His eyes followed you as you moved, his tongue running over his teeth. He didn't like being wrong about anything, and right now he was coming to the realisation that he had definitely been wrong about you

"What's your name?" he hummed, finally giving in slightly and resting against the wall behind him, a deep frown pulling at his lips.

You glanced over in his direction quirking an eyebrow at him. "No talking," you uttered, headed for the window on the far side of the room. From up here, at the top of Stark tower, you could see the chaos his alien creatures were creating in the streets. Could almost make out the forms of your friends as they fought off the invaders.

"We'll be here for some time," he pressed on, hearing the frustrated groan you released at the mere sound of his voice. "We might as well make conversation to pass the time."

"I have nothing to say to you-"

"You could start with telling me the name of the mortal who bested me."

You lips twitched slightly, a small smile appearing out of no where. Before you turned to face him, you forced it away, replacing it with a stoney expression that had been known to scare the ever-loving shit out of Stark's interns. "Who said I was a mortal?"

His brow furrowed at your comment, confusion painted onto his expression.  "You're on Earth-"

"So are you," you interrupted, crossing the room to drop down onto the sofa, watching him carefully. "And you've made it very clear that you aren't a mortal. In fact, you never stop bragging about it."

His tongue darted out to wet his lips, buying himself a moment to think. "Are you an Asgardian?

"No," you hummed. "But you already knew the answer to that one, didn't you?"

He nodded, shifting on the spot to get a better look at you. "I think you're lying." You shrugged slightly. "You're clearly a human. Look at you."

You chuckled slightly. "I never said I wasn't a human," you uttered, tilting your head to the side slightly. "Just not a mortal; not in the classic sense of the word, at least."

"You're a Super Soldier," he finally concluded, watching as a smile drifted onto your lips for just a moment. "I'm right."

"Well, it certainly took you long enough to figure it out." The two of you fell quiet for a moment, and you craned your neck, looking over your shoulder at the window. "You know, I take all this coming to Earth and trying to destroy it stuff pretty personally."

Loki looked a little worried for a moment, his eyes never leaving you as you returned your gaze to him. "I'm sure you do-"

"The only reason that you're still alive is because your brother is my friend. If it wasn't for him I would have killed you before you had the chance to say a word."

He nodded, swallowing deeply. "I see."

"Those people out there, the ones that your little horde are attempting to murder, they are real people. People with lives, and families, and goals." You paused for a moment, shaking your head. "Does it make you feel good to know they're scared of you? To kill and enslave innocent people?"

For a moment, you thought that he was going to remain silent. That maybe he would ignore the biting tone of your voice and let you rant on in peace. And then he was clearing his throat. "Good isn't the right word," he started, tilting his head back against the wall. "Only people who have been in control know the feeling," he added, a small smile pulling at his lips. "I mean, look at you. The second you got these cuffs on me you were radiating joy. It's practically sybaritic. You're getting off on controlling me."

"I'm not getting off-"

Loki released a sharp bite of laughter, shaking his head. "You aren't even enjoying it, are you?" His tongue darted out, wetting his bottom lip. "You have complete control. You could do anything to me and no one would ever have to know. You could kill me and never suffer any consequences. And you're telling me that just the thought doesn't excite you?"

"I'm not a psychopath." Your entire body was rigid, sitting up straighter on the sofa as you swallowed around the lump in your throat. "I don't get turned on by the idea of hurting people."

"I think you're lying to me," he pressed on, a smirk forming on his lips. "I think you love the idea of hurting me. Think you're imagining all the things you could do to me, and getting that tight feeling right in the bottom of your stomach."

Your breath caught in your throat at the accusation, and suddenly, you were stood on shaking legs, looking at anything but him.

"I knew it," he hummed, smiling up at you. You quickly unholstered your gun, pointing it down at him as you approached. "See, doesn't that feel good, soldier? You're the authority here. You have the power. You choose if I live or die-"

"Shut up." You pressed the gun to his temple, letting out a shaking breath. "Stop talking," you muttered, attempting to slow you fast-beating heart.

"I could help you feel like that all the time." He paused for a moment. "You could be a Queen, you'd have all the power you could ever need."

Your hand shook as you pressed it forward, pushing his head back against the wall. "I don't-"

"Y/N?" You flinched slightly at the sound of your name, retracting the gun and taking a step back as you glanced over at your colleagues.

"He's all yours," you uttered, holstering the gun and dropping back onto the sofa as Steve and Tony came to escort Loki away.

"It's a pretty name," he teased, grinning over at you. "Queen Y/N the first," he pushed, his eyes holding your gaze. "Sounds perfect to me."
