Snatching his hat off the older member's head, Jungkook got to his feet and tucked his chair tidily underneath the desk, familiar with how his hyung liked the workspace.

"I'm calling it," the maknae announced, Jimin barely spared him a glance though. He was still lost in his own project.

"Remember to lock the door on your way out," Again, the elder's acknowledgement was minimal, but Jungkook had somewhere to be and he didn't have the energy to push Jimin on this. It wasn't as if Jimin had ever left the door unlocked before, he was just a little paranoid and protective when it came to his studio.

"Give Mara my best," Jimin mumbled just in time for JK to catch it before the door closed between them.

He was practically vibrating with excitement when he finally made it home. The apartment he'd bought for himself still didn't feel like home, not compared with the dorm, but when Mara was there it was, at least, more welcoming. Whilst she was away, there was too much empty space and silence. He just never felt at ease when he stayed there alone. If it wasn't for wanting somewhere private to spend time with his girlfriend, Jungkook would have never even bought the new place, but the dorm was too crowded and chaotic to ever get to spend quality time together.

"Jungkookie, is that you?" the voice carried a tone of excitement that perfectly matched the feeling keeping JK light and bouncy on his feet. She came careering into him from around the corner, practically mashing her petite figure into Jungkook, who was consequently forced back to the door. "I've missed you, Oppa," Mara mumbled, barely a second passing between the admission and the familiar feeling of her mouth sucking at his neck. He may have been twenty-seven and very much an adult in his own right, but there was something about the way Mara loved him that really cemented the feeling for Jungkook.

Their relationship was so mature compared to anything Jungkook had previously known. She was independent and determined. She existed just as well without him as she did when he was around and that had intrigued him.

Honestly, Kookie had always thought he'd end up with a person who couldn't live without him- but time and life had led him to Mara, who was nothing like the sort of girl he'd always expected to end up with. While Jungkook was growing up, his parents had always told him that one day he'd find a girl who made him happy, and he'd marry her and be happy, even when he wasn't. But Mara wasn't like that, she didn't make him happy as such as he was happy anyway and she was happy and they enjoyed being happy together.

The only thing Mara needed from Jungkook was the very thing she was searching for as she kept up a steady assault on his collar bone, wrapping her legs even tighter around his toned waist. At least from that perspective, she was insatiable for him, having been influenced by her father's western background and regular visits to the US for his work. She was not like the Korean girls his mother had tried to set him up with. There was a wildness to her nature, a part of her that he couldn't keep up with, always trying new things looking for new experiences, attempting to share them with Jungkook.
