"Not tonight, guys, sorry!" Mimie called over her shoulder before vanishing from the practice room at the end of the day. The members were left helplessly staring after her shadow. It was becoming a regular thing, Mimie running out the door at the end of the day climbing into the same black BMW and disappearing. The habit had developed slowly; she only ditched them once or twice for the first couple of weeks. But they were a month and a half into this new cycle and she was now gone every evening.

Taehyung had been the one to ask her to stay for dinner this time. She'd never said no to him before, but today she seemed to have no issue brushing his kind offer away and running out the door. The members looked to Namjoon, who seemed equally confused.

"Come on, let's go," he pressed on authoritatively. Joon pulled his bag over his head and then pushed on his sunglasses despite the sun outside already setting. Considering the internal debate he was having, Namjoon's demeanour remained shockingly unaffected by his best friend's hasty abandonment.

It wasn't as if Joon hadn't tried to ask Mimie about it. All she had said was that when there was something to tell, he'd be the first to hear about it. And that was how they'd left it. But, again, six weeks had passed since then and Joon was none the wiser. There was a nagging concern in the back of his head that maybe working together had altered the dynamic between them. Perhaps she was growing out of him, of needing an older brother figure in her life...

"Hyung?" Jimin appeared, timidly in Joon's doorway whilst the elder man busied himself messing around with some of Yoongi's old loops. Every track had something to them, but Joon could understand why they'd fallen to the cutting room floor, still it kept his mind occupied.

"Jimin-ah, are you ok?" Namjoon immediately provided the younger member with his full concentration.

"Actually, I came to ask you that, hyung..."

"I'm fine," he flashed his dimples to Jimin, but the younger wasn't so easily swayed.

"I know you're not," Jimin sighed, stepping into the room to let the door softly shut the pair of them away from the rest of the world. "If you want to talk about Hyemi-,"

"Really, Jiminie, I'm ok," The leader insisted, tensing up hearing her name. It felt childish to get so upset about his friend not wanting to spend time with him. He was supposed to be the leader. The other members looked to him for how to act and behave and he didn't like that they could see him like this.

Not believing Namjoon in the slightest, Jimin frowned, falling onto the mattress and pulling his phone out to compose a text.

Chiminnie^_^: When is your earliest availability? I'd like to book some of your time?

It was a little petty and he knew exactly how she would read it, but Jimin couldn't watch Namjoon hyung continue stewing in his misery.

Mimie :D: Let's talk tomorrow x
